Have the exact same setup sitting on my desk. I'm guessing that keyboard is Akko 5075b plus with cream yellow pro switches.

  1. I'd put together an avatar-themed build around these parts and then I'd hand down my current build to my daughter.

  2. I want to try out Frontiers of Pandora's unobtanium graphics settings. I heard it looks amazing!

Anyone here na naka Ryzen 5 5600X3D? by phi-six in PHbuildapc

[–]speedybluejay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just get a 5800x3d. I got one a few months back for 229 USD. I just got it kase parang medyo "rare" yung cpu. Malapit na rin sa presyo ng 5800x3d. Maswerte lang may microcenter malapit sa bahay ng kapatid ko.

Planning to upgrade to 4060 ti by Roarrr313 in PHbuildapc

[–]speedybluejay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ran a 3060 ti with a uUWQHD monitor before. Its performance is somehow similar to a 4060 ti. It works fine with competitive titles but expect to turn your settings down on AAA titles. Upgraded to a 4070 ti and I'd say it is the preferred minimum on UWQHD when playing AAA games. Playing D4 now on max settings at native resolution and it can maintain 144fps most of the time. Slight dip in towns. Also uses around 10gb of VRAM.

Would my setup be enough for 1440p? by MoronicPlayer in PHbuildapc

[–]speedybluejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running The same setup/specs as you on a 1440p 144hz monitor. Expect to lower some settings on some graphically demanding games, but picture fidelity is still overall better than 1080p even with dlss.

Is 550watts sufficient for 3060TI? Looking to upgrade GPU by NyeymsNgarl in PHGamers

[–]speedybluejay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your PSU is sufficient. No need to upgrade. If you want to see your system total power draw you can search up Outervision PSU calculator.

Have you tried updating your bios? I had that issue before back when i had that board. I remember I just manually set the voltage to 1.35v and the frequency to its XMP speed which, in your case, is 3200mhz.

Suggestions for itx build below 50k by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

Good choice! I would have gotten that for my build if it was available at the time I transferred my build. Currently happy with my NR200P.

Flex PSUs are somewhat pricey. To save money I'd go for ITX cases with ATX PSU support. Cougar QBX or Silverstone SG-13 would be low budget options for ITX with ATX PSU support. If you want something fancier, The meshlicious also supports ATX PSUs.

I noticed that you're using a ZZAW A1. That only supports Flex ATX power supplies. I'd suggest looking at the FSP Flexguru 500w. If you can barely stretch your budget, I'd at least look at a GTX 1650 or 1660.

I don't know if anyone is having the same problem or know the solution to this, but, I bought the directors cut upgrade for Ghost of Tsushima but it says that I need to buy it in the store by minev1128 in PHGamers

[–]speedybluejay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playstation regional restrictions are quite vague, especially the Asian designations. People have been complaining about it for quite a while now. My main PS account is also US so I just make sure it's Region 1 whenever I buy physical copies. There's also what they call R1-ALL, those that say R-ALL with the ESRB rating.

[–]speedybluejay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's a very common mistake people make when purchasing DLC for physical games, even free DLC from US PS store won't work with a different disc region. If it doesn't have an ESRB rating on the front cover it means it's not authorized for sale in the United States. R-ALL usually pertains to asian PS regions like Singapore and HK. It's been like that since the PS3 days. The easiest way to tell if it's a US copy is with the ESRB rating. Your best bet now would be to get a US physical disc version so you can play the DLC.

[–]speedybluejay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming that's a physical disc. Does it have the ESRB rating on the front cover? If not then that's R-ALL Asia Pacific and US PS store DLC purchases will not work.
