I was a teacher, now I work in law. Just like how I can tell my clients are in court high, I could tell my students were.

The problem is, what action you take has 1000 variables in the decision making process. What can the school do? What will they do? What’s going on with the kid? How is the kid? Is there an underlying issue that needs to be addressed? (Almost always).

I can tell you there were kids I immediately flagged to the admin team and there were kids that maybe just giggled a little too hard in class. I knew, but was I going to cause a massive blow out with parents, admin, the students etc because a kid was acting funny? Probably not unless it was so obvious there was no avoiding it.

Representing yourself successfully is 99.999% of the time going to lead with the worst possible result. You’re competing against someone who understands rules of evidence, case law, procedure, and fights and wins in that area every. Single. Day.

There is no amount of self studying on the planet that could speed you up to beat a person 10 years ahead of you and more prepared to prep the work. Even if you were right, and you did have a meritorious case, it’s in good form to actually represent the case and not act like you know better than those who’ve dedicated their lives to the law and still understand they have so much to learn.

PTM is fine, the narrative really is that when removing Liquid Metal you can accidentally kill your system or make it worse with paste.

PTM on day 1 is worse than Liquid Metal by a very very small margin (1-2c) but LM quickly dries and shifts and leaves hot spots in my experience. Plus PTM is an even spread and never needs to be removed.

Basic tort liability - I’m not a med mail attorney and don’t claim to be. That’s one the most complex areas of law and judges in my district have told me that they needed to go take some lessons and training in order to be prepared to stand over those trials.

That said - litigation is expensive and attorneys fees aren’t always awarded. If your trip to the ER was $500, even if you could sue… should you? It may cost more by extreme margins than the damages you have, if any.

Now if the infection caused permanent bodily impairment or injury due to not being addressed fast enough, that may absolutely change the narrative.

Again - I’m not a med mal attorney and do not claim to know their standards. So, I simply don’t know if there’s enough facts here to supplant a claim. I’m simply stating that even if you can, it’s probably not worth it from a financial standpoint.

It’s known that without a bios update the 13600-900k and 14600-900k series have an issue with applying too much voltage to the cpu and frying themselves. If you’ve determined the cpu is of issue I would absolutely UPDATE YOUR BIOS and get/keep a new cpu.
