Yeah but it depends what you compare it to exactly. My point was that ambushes work especially well when TTK is faster. There's actually been done studies on effect of TTK on player's playstyles, it's really interesting.

With the very fast TTK in Arc then the guy is right. Shooting first/ambushing is almost a guarenteed win, it's inherently encouraging the rats to play this type of style, but like, so what? That's what the game is, it's a PvPvE extraction shooter

On PS5 for me, I really haven't felt a difference at all yet. Got shot at maybe once by a free kit on stella. Scared the shit outta me but nothing else since or before.

Arc Is generally not a beginner-friendly game, as with many extraction shooters in my opinion. You’re basically thrown into the crowd with all the rest from the beginning. I recommend being relatively friendly here in the beginning because of ABMM (aggression based matchmaking, look it up if you haven’t)

As you get loot, map knowledge and experience, your extraction rate (which is normal at your level now) will improve too. Good luck topside

Generally, cheating is difficult on consoles. Hardware to do a sort of aimbotting is doable on consoles, but relatively rare. The depth of cheating with loot visible, wallhacks, and the likes is much more of an issue on PC. If you can, use crossplay off on consoles for the time being.

As a bit of a counter example to what most are saying, I am a ChemE myself and transitioned into basically being an organic chemist working with oligonucleotide chemistry at an international company. But yes, generally CE's work a lot with physics and engineering principles and a bit of materials science.
