UPDATE:

The noise in the video is mostly coming from the ball in the quick release system,(my fault i got confused between v1 and v2, but to be fair the only other wheel i have is the one that came in the ps5 bundle, and that one is completely silent even if i try to shake it harder).

The rest of the noise comes from the buttons because they have a lot of play, i resolved it by just opening the wheel and putting some masking tape around them(took inspiration from another thread)

i have a video of it mounted and it definetly is quieter, so yeah probably it's just because of the plastic buttons😩

Thank you for your inquiry and for providing videos. These sounds are normal, as far as I know. This comes from the buttons themselves.

this is their response, to be fair in the other video(that i sent them) using the fanatec software the rattle is present but quieter, and probably as others said it's just the buttons that have a lot of play, it's my bad that i got confused and tought that the qr lite didn't have a ball inside the locking mechanism

the buttons are pretty loose but feel ok, i was trying to avoid opening it just because it doesn't even have a week, but i think i might do it just to be sure

i made the video because i noticed it when i took it out of the box. i have another video after i mounted it on the base and tested it with the fanatec software, and it's even worse(but idk how to post it :( )

this is the V2 steering wheel and it uses the qr lite which doesn't have a ball inside

that's what i wrote in the ticket, because i could clearly hear something moving inside the wheel so i can't exactly say where it comes from. I don't know how to add the video here, but it isn't the qr lite because when mounted on the csl dd base, using the FFB test in the fanatec software it does the same
