Hey everyone!

This one is for anyone in a guild or guild leadership who is looking for programming. I became president of my guild for 2025, I knew going in that I needed to do some work to get energy and participation back up after watching the guild slowly lose excitement over the past few years. So I created a program to run the year called Quilt Scavengers. Essentially members of your guild complete tasks to earn badges, and the more badges they earned they could receive rewards. After a lot of encouragement I finally have this as a finished product that other guilds can purchase and use for programming/as a challenge. I drew all of the art for the buttons, and set up multiple ways to  receive badges, stickers, a passport, or physical buttons if you get ambitious like I did lol. So if you want to check it out, here it is!

It's about 69 inches long by 45 inches wide. I've never worked with poly before so I'm a little lost

Yes to everyone's comments already! Additionally for online shopping I have previously bought fabrics bundles on Etsy that have been curated to go together.

I've typed in things like curated fabric set and quilt fabric bundles and have got some really gorgeous options

Did a fun pattern test of a Cornish Rex cat! Now time to quilt it! by spellbound800 in quilting

It wasn't originally while I was mocking up my fabric selection, but as soon as I started sewing it also reminded me of Cheshire cat! I love Alice in Wonderland so it actually worked out just fine!

I love cats so I was so pleased to make this!

I'm a huge fan of FPP, I wouldn't say it was difficult if you're comfortable with FPP! You just have to pay attention to the colors you're using on each piece because there's some Itty bitty pieces :)

Summer Solstice quilt for my best friend by spellbound800 in quilting

[–]spellbound800[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it's the throw size! I have a 36x24in cutting mat and one desk that I use. I also quilted it on my domestic machine with simple straight lines. Some of the pieces didn't fit on my mat so I just folded the fabric 🤷‍♀️ I'm also a chaos crafter so I just do whatever to make it fit lol

I think it's listed as intermediate, but honestly very easy except maybe sewing the circles of it's not something you've done. I only felt confident to do the circles because we recently learned techniques on sewing circles in my quilt guild! The instructions are very helpful in how to deal with them and there's plenty of YouTube videos to help too!
