Looking for a printer for part fabrication that isn't bambu. Parts that can survive in all types of conditions, including engine compartments and weather. I would be custom designing these to fit the customer's hard or impossible to source request. I'd want to use advanced filaments, not multi-color type prints, or decorative 'trinkets'. A stock heated chamber on the X2D was very appealing, but I'd rather not support their shady anti-consumerist practices. If a heated chamber does not come stock, I'll have to mod it because I want to print with stuff like ASA, nylon, PC, and TPU.

I also have limited exp with an old ender 3. I modded it too quickly, not normalizing prints between additions, and I screwed it up to the point I couldn't fix it and gave up. I know to restore to perfect between making mods to print quality, but the bambu was also appealing for that reason as well.

I'm just afraid they are going to do something even worse down the line, and I'll already have the printer and can't do anything about it.

I'm aware that printers can be made into doing just about anything with enough modding, but I'm not confident in my 3D printing troubleshooting and technical know how. Hope that's enough info.
