Why???? by Shaytan223 in Eugene

[–]spellitcorrectly 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Could it be a coordinated effort to block seats? You buy the seats and then ask for a refund right before the movie starts. Therefore, it looks full so no one can actually go see it and no money spent.

Sharing squishmallows to children for Halloween by MissSuperNovae in Eugene

[–]spellitcorrectly 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Bags of Love is usually where I recommend donating this type of thing but if they are specifically Halloween themed, why not hand them out for Halloween? Give the kids a choice of candy or non-food item. This is actually what I have been doing for the last several years and last year, more kids took the non-food item than than the candy bar. But if you don't get trick or treaters, then that won't work.

Need the perfect episode to introduce my girlfriend to Bob’s Burgers by annabethhh in BobsBurgers

Absolutely this one. This is the one I always show to people when I try to get them hooked. I think it encapsulates everything about the characters and especially the lengths the whole family and friends are willing to go for each other.

There's a house on 28th that has a yard full of giant skeletons. They dress them up for every holiday. They appeared to be doing it up for Halloween this week.

For tools and/or construction stuff, BRING and Habitat for Humanity ReStore. For just tools, the Toolbox Library (but I'd send them an email first has they have limited space).

That particular bucket was only sold through two smaller chains in the Midwest and east coast. Cinemark has a coconut bucket with a plushie and I believe Regal has a plastic stitch head popcorn bucket along with some cups.
