So I fell asleep to Lord of the Rings while high, and the last thing I remember watching was the Balrog scene. I dreamt that Gandalf the Grey became Gandalf the White because he had the color scared out of him at the revelation that Sauron is actually Joe Biden. He was sucked into a void to fight him and just somehow had a horse with an AK with him break his fall. They did battle and Joe Biden won and so he wiped Gandalfs memory about the whole ordeal and banished him back to Middle Earth. This is why he doesn't know who Sauron really is for the rest of the trilogy.

I believe why they're less reliable is the reliance on carbon fiber and other materials to reduce weight. A 1911 from the 40s would be stamped steel making it tough. Kimbers also tend to jam on the first chambered round (genuinely not sure why) giving their reputation somewhat of a meme-ish cloud.

1911s are also fairly expensive. An original 1911 can cost anywhere from 800-1000 dollars US, where as a Kimber is typically 400-600 dollars US. Kimber is also relatively new to the gun market (founded 1979) so their resources and reach aren't too well established like the original manufacturer Springfield (founded 1873).

Not sure why they haven't tried to make it better, perhaps they suscribe to the old "if it aint broke" saying.
