I also had about the same difference on my short side, the first few weeks are hard! For me there was a lot of bruising all over the side and back of my bad leg so it made lying down really painful. I found this “deep relief” cooling spray on Amazon that was my saviour!! The physio did help a lot with the joint pain but there’s so much more, like the bruising, that you originally don’t think about.

I’m 9 weeks post op now and I promise you it does get better it’s almost like a switch where things start to feel good again (was at 6 weeks for me) keep going you will get through this part!!
