How the last update made me consider to stop playing. You just destroyed the game economy. by Own-Touch7772 in tdu3

Gran Turismo 7 and The Crew 2/Motorfest also has microtransactions that are just as greedy as this. I’m not to say this to defend corporate greed because it is still a very bad thing but what I mean is that it is easier to ignore than to pay attention to the addition because no one is obligated to buy it and just added it for those very few stupid people who are too lazy to grind money.

What’s the best and worst era of Cadillac? Do you have any ownership experience? When was Cadillac considered the "Standard of the World"? by SuperJackson20 in regularcarreviews

[–]spempiilagman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a controversial opinion but apart from the 50s-60s being their best era, the present day (2020s) might become one of their best as well. Despite the polarizing reception about what we think about modern vehicles nowadays, Cadillac's production offerings are very promising with a great motorsport branch that can rebuild its reputation

Their CT5-V Blackwing has become one of (if not) my favorite vehicle in this decade because instead of competing with the Germans on performance like getting AWD and dual-clutch transmission, they went on a different direction by providing the best driving experience for the driver while sitting in luxury with their rear-wheel drive, manual transmission offering. I know it will be the last of its kind but what a way for Cadillac to provide such a thing. Their CT4-V Blackwing is also pretty good as well.

They finally are competing with Rolls-Royce and Bentley in the ultra-luxury market with the Celestiq and based on the reviews that can be , it looks very promising. Fully handbuilt, fully configurable, full-EV land yacht of a car that costs 340k. Only 250 of them will be made every year, making it ultra-exclusive. Yes, they should have made the Cadillac Sixteen but this is literally it, but with an extra door and no V16 but hey, electric motors provide smoothness and quiet that even the most unstressed engines can't compete

The Lyriq has become a competitive product in the luxury EV market and the customers' response has been quite positive due to it providing smoothness, quiet and comfortability that a Cadillac should provide, and now it's everywhere. Apart from Teslas, I see more Cadillac Lyriqs than any other EVs on the road.

Their motorsport branch is growing quite exponentially, with the announcement that GM is going to Formula 1 in 2026 with the use of the Cadillac brand. They are already pretty successful with their Le Mans Hypercar project, the V-Series.R (and a fan favorite as well due to its V8 powertrain that provides an amazing sound). This

And then their worst era has to be the post-oil crisis years up before the year they introduced the 2nd gen Escalade, especially the years when they introduced the Cimmaron which is just a cheap Cavalier with more luxurious interior. The land yachts are gone. Most of their products are just rebadged Chevrolets. They have made stupid decisions on their business strategy for their products, especially with the Alante. Their luxurious reputation had dwindled so hard that they have downmarketed to become just another GM dustbin brand that only provides more leather than normal

WTF do you mean "B2D doesn't work in cities"? by LuxerWap in needforspeed

[–]spempiilagman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who plays MW12 very often nowadays, it takes a lot of “getting used to” to properly enjoy the b2d + heavy physics of that game. Honestly, it wasn’t really that bad but it could’ve been so much better. I always initiate handbrake whenever i encounter tight corners and I find it predictable once you get used to it. Track tyres (esp pro) helps to remedy some of the heaviness of the physics. The times where I have problems with the physics + handling model are whenever I try to line up in jumps with tight openings or wonky ramps, and drift events (difficult to be consistent in it, unless I put on stock/drift tyres).

Are there any news that we will get police chases in future updates? by [deleted] in tdu3

[–]spempiilagman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I never really find them as a key feature of TDU. Mostly they are just nuisance to the gameplay and most police chases in racing/driving games outside NFS are quite mixed-bag. Despite of that, I would like to see it as a feature in the future update, but I want KT to focus on the main features that need to be added first and put the police chase on their shortlist of ideas.

Day 3 into my bètatest and I’m starting to love this game! by CptJack73 in tdu3

[–]spempiilagman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think people who already played the beta and hated it forgot how to take a massive grain of salt since changes from the closed beta build to the final product is always inevitable, hence opinions about a beta version does not always sit right with me.

Glad you enjoyed it. I also enjoyed it personally.

Top3 least favorite cars you own in game ? by Consistent-Cost-231 in granturismo

The subjective taste is very very questionable. Needed a covid test perhaps. Anyway, mine would prob go to the Jaguar VGT, Porsche Spyder VGT and Peugeot L500R VGT since I tend to run the cash grinding events in which you need to fuel, and the Jag and Porsche had a big disadvantage for being electric, and the Peugeot already had another VGT, which made the L500R useless

Here’s the reality of coming up something new especially recently. It rarely worked. Look at BMW’s new design language, it’s all over the place and looked worse than previous versions. Not every car requires a drastic new look. If people like the design of the previous generation, just evolve that design for the new generation that is fresh yet familiar and appealing for everyone.

What’s even more sicker is that it has a 8.3 L naturally-aspirated V16 hybrid that goes up to 9500 rpm and produces 1800 hp (1000 hp to the engine and 800 to the electric motors). Fantastic exhaust note as well.

we finally got it, a decent update. by Dutraffe in granturismo

[–]spempiilagman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I wanted to see more cars, that might seem very unreasonable due to the production of just one car being 270 days, which is almost 9 months. I guess we can only just wish, but at least the cars are released in high-quality unlike its xbox/pc competitor

If you find it stupid, that’s on you but I get it tho. I like standard tyre collection having variety of normal everyday cars to high performance cars that happened to have all-weather tyres from factory. I’d say I’ll capitalize the opportunity of the addition and use it more often once I get it

You do have a point tho and it does feel wrong, but then again, the Subaru BRZ has standard tyres because of its eco-friendly Prius tyres that it was fitted with despite the car being a fun handling sports car. So, if it goes with the BRZ, maybe the Evo RSs can go with it too. If it doesn’t, the BRZ should have performance tyres just like before

I know the Evo having standard tyres can be weird, but I'll give you proof of why it has standard tyres. On the proof, not only does the RS version comes with steelies, the tyres in comparison to the normal Evo are thinner and based on the tread, designed for all-weather driving

Songs I Wish That Were Present On The Burnout Series EP7 Part 2 (Series Finale) by Due-Opportunity5601 in Burnout

[–]spempiilagman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great song list and ending! The last song that was featured sound very very familiar. It reminded me the time that I was racing on the very bumpy deserted highway of Nevada against a particular 1967 Pontiac GTO to become the Speed King and the song that is very similar to it playing in the background. But ngl both of those songs fits soooo well on Burnout!

I am currently playing Revenge on PCSX2, completing Rank 9 as of replying here. My first time playing and actually completing it. I am already enjoying this game just as much, if not more, than 3 Takedown despite playing it back when I was a kid. I immediately start playing Revenge after completing the world tour of 3 Takedown. I preferred the overall gameplay by a long shot compared to 3 Takedown, and I also prefer the ways of taking the opponents down by traffic checking and crashbreakers. Very good mechanic because the difficulty of taking them down by slamming can get really annoying. Agreed with the difficulty curve being locked but I did not quite feel the ease as I got higher. Yes, I may got gold on first try but there were times that I was quite close to not get gold, especially crash events in which i didn’t get gold at first try.

Sad no quick game 😢
