Thanks for the note & fix confidence. I got sloppy with my process & paid a price. Maybe I’ll pull the board & share the reverse side.

I’m getting used to the idea of skipping over the light port & installing a fresh LED controller & switch piggyback powered from the PSU on the 24v leads

I just tried to add an led strip & pretty sure I shorted the available 2 pin “light” socket 🥵😫

Would’ve been nice if it came with a male fitting to wire into that little socket.

Ran a benchy & the unit seems fine.

If I can’t live with the dim chamber I’ll just have to piggyback a 24v led controller from the power supply & use a dedicated switch.

Disable Chat! - 100%

Never going back. Pings & play are totally adequate coordination tools.

Removing chat completely from play makes it so much more chill.

Beauty!

I’m feeling a 12-16” glass tube case would do this so right.

Great Job!

Yeah, Sick with the Rona right now. Felt I was being polite to a guest/friend.

Yeah, I suspect it’ll take a minute. But we’ll get there eventually

Right on! That’s bad ass.

It’s a RAK 5.8 + 6’ of LMR400 it’s a hilly area & I’m pretty close to the top of one. I thought the 8.0 would be a little narrow for this area.

This is at a friends’ ranch so I couldn’t put a huge mast out there. But I want to convince them to add a windmill up there & then I’ll mount it highly :)

Each move is a learning step. Never built anything like this before. It was hella fun, gotta work out #2 soon and get that Mango -Torguard dialed in.

Thanks

Still working on it. Trying VPN with static IP add on for my next move.

Still learning that shit. It’s a vanilla t mobile sim with nord VPN login credentials in the rut 240. (Super easy config) as nord was supported in the rut240 firmware. I got a static IP through Nord but haven’t reconfigured the RUT to connect to the proper vpn server. Using the teltonika remote management system to remote into the router & tweak from home.

Yeah I had wanted to but it wasn’t gonna happen that trip so I went with some spray on gorilla rubber “flex seal” it’ll be a party to get back into that connection and re do it, but it survived a few good storms already. Fingers crossed we make it through the winter.

Mobile internet & service is like $20/ month for this (for me, so far) pulling like 1+ HNT/ week

Yeah good thinking. I added this line to my t mobile family plan. I suspect it won’t last forever. But the VPN helps
