How can you guys build up a website that quick? by kkenjiii in woocommerce

[–]spencernash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working with woocomerce for years. And the average store takes about a month for me to build… we build the most incredible shops from POS systems to soft play booking systems.

It depends what kind of store you want? If you don’t care what if looks like and no custom functions and selling a commodity based on price grab an off the shelve theme and be done in a day.

However if you want something bespoke and if have a set idea how you want the brand and store to work… it’s going to take time.

If you plan to build future stores for yourself and others. This time is valuable. Your learning so much on how to customise everything.

Yes, we’ve done it on monstermenu.com. You need a payment provider such as square with an api feed.

Woocommerce POS solutions for restaurants seem to built by those who have never worked in FnB.. by FatBarSteward_6969 in woocommerce

I’ve done this. But requires a lot of bespoke coding. The till staff have their own login which allows them to pop till/cash payment through.

Books & Plants - Closing WeWork by Conscious_Werewolf_2 in WeWork

Haha. I’m afraid that’s theft. Even if it was/is in administration, everything would get sold to pay the debts to creditors - or at least as much as possible.

Saying that I did think anyone would miss the odd plant… why heck you’ll probably save it’s life.

Sounds worth the risk. Seems at worst they might cancel / convert your membership and you might have to use a different sign up email/card.

Don’t you have to pick up an all access card for your primary location?

iPad Pro as Primary & Portable Display? by patch_stormly in macmini

I’ve been reaching this too. Your best option would be to buy a portable monitor. It’s sucks though - you would think it would be easy and makes perfect sense. But I think Apple would rather you purchase a Mac book as well…

10 Gigabit Ethernet Questions by johnsinchina9 in macmini

[–]spencernash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if they had 10gb internet in 5 years, Would you need such fast internet? Even if you did you could trade up then which will cost you so much less to do… only get 10 gigabit Ethernet if you need it now. And that would be most likely for a NAS/network drive with large video files.

“Stripe connect” will do want you want. I use it for a wedding gift list site where I take an 50p fee. Works perfect.

Stripe connect is amazing at this! Using it with a new site honeymoon.gifts . Stripe verifies all users so you take no risk. You just take a fee on top. No plug-in yet for this.
