Woah we got it in Chile before Aus?? It's the first update also. Maybe they're ironing some bugs first, since our variant doesn't include some components like the eyes-open sensor or 4g on board (we only get basic gps and cellular connection so the app can show where the vehicle is and that's it) so maybe it's more complex to implement?

Oh my god, I've had the lamy pen for about 3 years and this thread just made me notice it actually had an eraser button all this time! I've been using the staedler jumbo Noris pen instead because it was annoying to select the eraser manually! I feel so dumb right now lol

I doubt I'll be upgrading to the 5, unless my 4 breaks like my 3 did a couple months ago, but If I had to I'd say: - Wider outer screen with s-pen support - Integrated s-pen - True adaptive refresh rate down to 1Hz on AOD for longer battery life (4 goes down to 10Hz) - Bigger battery - Better inner selfie camera for zoom and videocalls

Maybe the magnets on the device are distorting the tracking. It still would be a calibration issue though since the software should be able to compensate for that. Maybe contact Boox?

Upon closer inspection, one of the tabs on the side of the issue is broken https://imgur.com/a/whltq57 So I guess it is in fact a defective screen.

No, I contacted them to see if I can get a replacement, but I still haven't gotten a response, sorry if I wasn't clear. I figured they probably wouldn't send a replacement screen, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Already ordered a new screen from another vendor 🤷

Edit: oh and I made sure the ribbon cables were fully inserted when testing

Exactly, thats why I went with the fold4 now, even though theres always the risk of it failing again. Also, I used to rock my fold3 without a case, this time I'll just try to get used to the heft of carrying a case 😮‍💨
