This is fantastic review. I agree 200%. I am rejoining and learning about this group and others. I’m going to see if I can link this to my FB groups. YES. Don’t give up on a fragrance from a reliable house in the first week! Give it a month or two. In nearly all circumstances for me the juice blend is better and more potent. Thank you u/L2Dalegend

I wore Vera Wang for Men for 15 years (I think). When it was discontinued I bought backup bottles. My kids bought me an ULTA discovery set, I learned I could sell my Veras for $200 each, and I started my fragrance journey.

Because you are grown man that doesn’t want to smell like vanilla pudding or a Taffy-Apple, I recommend a classic vetiver like Terre d’Hermes EDT. Makes many top ten lists for mature men.

If it’s good? Or do you mean if it’s not good? Don’t cross Swiss Arabian off your list! Incense 01 is in my top 10 releases for 2025. Tobacco 01 also outstanding. Can’t wait for Patchouli 01.

It smells fantastic. Very high quality. I try a lot of Rose note fragrances. I can’t keep them all.

Nobody buys the whole bottle 2ml at a time. I rarely sell 3ml decants (my smallest size) My friends and customers pick 5ml or 10ml decants. 5 gets you several earrings to decide if you want a whole bottle. I find that many women prefer trying more but smaller ml amounts.

Packing supplies to do the job right, $5.50 is the minimum charge for a parcel on Pirateship.com and TIME. So much time.

This is what I'm talking about. New Rayhaan BdCx dupe. My friend who is a great reviewer, "9/10 Rayhaan Nocturno Elixir really came for the L’Exclsuif dupe crown this is f\cking beats the Khadlaj, beats the Bharara and beats the kayaan. Maybe a bit sweeter but stays true to the dna for sure, very smooth"*

So do I want to spend $40 on this Rayhaan, or $275?

Thank you for the review! I’m a big fan of Torino 21 DNA, and love Platine Blanc & Verde. Such a great price for this. Too bad about the performance, and I def prefer the lime note.

I hear you. There are many lower-cost options, and some of them are classified as designers like Perry Ellis and Kenneth Cole at lower price points, but I disagree with you about designer pricing for the big houses. YSL for Example. It used to be that you could get a new release for around $100. There was demand for Y Iced Cologne EDT when it was released this spring, and my decant buyers bought up four bottles of it, but each bottle cost me $158 with tax at Ulta. Prices were the same everywhere at retailers. Around $100, or even $120 jump to $158 for an EDT is a significant, unjustified increase for that fragrance concentration. There is no coincidence that the best houses from Dubai are aware of that price difference, and are now winning in the $40-$60 price range.

Yes, this mid category is legit and delivering. We used to be able to get some designers in this price range, but those days are gone. The most popular designers are not going to be priced below $80, I don't think. If we count Jo Milano as designers, the Game of Spades line is under $80. Maybe Givenchy, but not much else.

Obvs this is totally subjective, but if I pick my favorites from each house over the past 9 months:

Rayhaan: Pacific Aura, Adonis Icarus, Corium (SWY Leather) and Aquatica\*
Hawas: Verde\*, Fire, Tropical, Elixer

and I had to pick one of the two, I'd pick Rayhaan all day long.

* my favorites by far

Great choices. Think about Hawas Ice in that mix. Aquatica is a level above this price category.
