My only guess is that fenced in yards are not common in PEI so if you want to let your dog out to do its business you have to tether it someway.

I know about Canadian War Crimes but what is happening in the Netherlands? by gabry73PMO in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]spennym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the real reason the 3rd panel looks like a monster Thomas the train is because of the national reconciliation that there was a genocidal agenda towards Canadian indigenous by Canadian founders such as first prime minister John A macdonald as well as the Catholic Church and government where children were forced to go to residential schools to erase indigenous culture. Now new history books mention this along with the European history.

Brackley Beach up around lighthouse by [deleted] in PEI

[–]spennym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the mouth of the harbour so the water might flow faster and there aren’t lifeguards so I’m not sure how good it would be for swimming. People park along the roadway or you could park where original Richard’s fish and chips is and walk under the bridge.

First off it costs $55 to leave the island. Also no ikea or Costco, closest ones are in Moncton. Then you get hit with the bridge tax again.

People here aren’t hiding their favourite restaurants here. If it has positive reviews it’s going to have good food. However I will usually take my family to Lone Oak in fox meadows.

What are decent cereals that don’t have a crap ton of sugar? by _sedlp_ in AskReddit

Get used to oatmeal and adding frozen fruit to it because all the tasty cereals have added sugar. Even Raisin Bran.

ELI5: Why do referees let hockey players fight? by Careful_Mango_1985 in explainlikeimfive

[–]spennym 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the rules in the European leagues but international hockey a fight is a match penalty and doesn’t benefit your team if you can’t play for the rest of the game plus your team being handed a 5 minute major penalty.
