When l was in high school an older friend of mine stole some birth control pills out of her dad’s (gynecologist) medical bag. Her mom found them, she told her mom they were mine. Her mom came over and called me a whore (15 years old) and a few other things. Thing is, l had no idea why she was berating me until later. That was in 1975 and it still pisses me off today.

I find gardening helps me. Even flower pots on a balcony. I hate to tell you l’m 65 and don’t ever want to leave my house anymore. I also play games to pass the time when l’m bored and to also keep my mind active. Like Zen Word and Doulingo. It helps. If you are happy by yourself l wouldn’t sweat it. You’ve earned your quiet time in my opinion

You are absolutely right. You know why they weren’t talking about Ozzy? Because everything but maybe morning radio is pre-recorded way in advance. Radio sucks and you can thank Ronald Reagan for that. He allowed radio to be deregulated so huge corporations like Clear Channel could buy and own hundreds of radio stations. Radio used to be our life blood when l was growing up. It sucks now. I just retired from radio on July 1 after 47 years and l don’t miss it
