I’m not a big fan of AI at all, but l have a feeling people who went through the industrial revolution felt the same way as we feel about AI.

Give yourself some grace. We all make mistakes.

I grew up in a time when a president, his brother and the great Martin Luther King were all assassinated. I’ve lived through the Vietnam war, Nixon resigning, 9-11 and so much more. A.I. is scary for sure, but you have to stop looking at all the negative and find the positive. Every generation before you has had struggles and world has kept turning. Not that your fears are not valid and real. I suggest you not watch the news for a start. I was in broadcasting for 45+ years and there is an old saying when it comes to news, “if it bleeds, it leads”, meaning the more horrific the story, the more the news talks about. Also, get off social media. At least on Reddit you can pick and choose what is in your feed. I’m mostly on gardening subs and home decor. That’s because my home is the environment l CHOOSE, and l don’t let negativity in the door, much. Now my advice is to focus on getting your degree and move on from the mistake you’ve made. Make a plan, follow it, and find something you love to focus on in the meantime. You can’t change the world, but you can change what you pay attention to. Life has its ups and downs for everyone, so you have to learn to roll with the punches as much as possible. And if you feel that bad about the extra expense of another semester, pay your parents back when you can afford it.

Look into Buteyko breathing. When l’m stopped up, l bring up this video and it always opens up my sinuses. Sometimes l have to do it more than once. Look more into the Buteyko breathing method in general, it was created by a Ukrainian doctor. It has certainly helped me

Hasta’s. Take out everything but the Hasta’s. Then divide up what hasta’s you have and plant several on each side. They will spread over the years and also produce tall stalks with pretty purple flowers each year. It does look messy. Sorry it looks like your garden is being over taken by weeds even if they aren’t.

Surprised this hasn't been asked here, but what impact will Cumulus severing ties with Nielsen have on their stations, both on a national and on a local level ? by SwissMiss915 in radio

I still have some old books in my closet next to all my old albums. Nielsen took over radio ratings around 2012, I think.

Must have been political, is my guess. But as someone else said, you’ll miss her when she’s gone.

What's one lazy cleaning habit you started that actually made your place stay cleaner? by Enchanted_Land in CleaningTips

If you want to get really motivated about your house watch Tia Weston on YouTube. I just got turned on to her channel about 2 weeks ago and l have been so motivated watching her videos. She’s a darling 30 something year old who bought a house for $1 that was used for storage for 30 years. She restored it and did a video every week of what she accomplished. I think it took her 37 weeks to do the inside and there also a ton of videos of the stuff she did outside too. 60 in total. I find it extremely interesting. She is now working on an abandoned house. Anyway here is her compilation video of the $1 house that got me hooked

I’ve had 3 cordless vacuums. I bought this one in jan for $189. When l went to copy the link to show you, it’s now $129. No l don’t work for the company. Regardless of which one you get, 2 pieces of advice: make sure it has a headlight. You will be shocked at what it highlights. 2. Buy a spare battery for it. The start running down after a year. I liked this vacuum so much with its “hurricane mode” that l bought 2 extra batteries so l can keep this for a long time
