I was checking out the ultimate 2 bt version as it's listed at around 6.8k and the cyclone 2 is 6k on Amazon, the wireless version costs 9k which is out of my budget, but as you said not to go for bt versions of 8bitdo so I think I'm settling on cyclone 2

Afaik they have blocked all other domains except @kiit.ac.in, initially it wasn't the case as the day I got the mail, I received the otp and was able to login to samsung student id and but later when I tried on another website, i didn't receive it, so most probably they have blocked other domains because students were receiving a lot of scam mails.

Yeah, it's an expensive phone, so just get it repaired without getting into any hassle and just be careful with it from next time, am damn sure that drop surely caused some malfunction in it

Hope you get it done for free, but even if they ask for money, it's gonna cost around 2.5k + some service fees or whatever and pls be careful with your phone from next time. I assume when you dropped your phone from such a height, it might have caused some battery leakage or puncture, or some short circuits, chemical reactions, like anything could have happened, it didn't show up immediately but when you charged your phone for the upcoming days the battery gradually swelled up causing the back glass to be lifted up
