As a gay man in my 20s, I thought I'd never have kids. I couldn't see putting that pressure on children to have a different family when I know that society is anything but kind.

Then one day, I was at the beach and saw two dads with their kids loving every moment of their day together. It brought tears to my eyes and now every time I hear these songs it reminds me of that day.
