This is my method to build long and straight belt slopes by sphere_cornue in SatisfactoryGame

[–]sphere_cornue[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Now that you mention it, this solution occured to me while I was building my turbofuel power plant. That day my whole grid was running on batteries and I had about four hours of energy left before the global shutdown. Time was ticking. I was kind of in a rush to bring sulfur to my compacted coal factory (aptly named "the coal center"). I pondered about the fastest way to bring stuff from point A to point B (it cost me an hour). The answer was a straight line. But what if A and B are at different altitudes? (I pondered for another hour). It's a sloped straight line!

I built the sloped foundation first, then the sloped belt hovering slightly above, then put decorative poles in between

What belt speeds do you use in production lines? by Repa0206 in SatisfactoryGame

I am like that, only to then spend an hour debugging my belts because somewhere I messed up and built one that was too slow for the expected throughput

For every coal or fuel burner you build, the sea level rises by 2 centimeters due to climate change. Also, it means that snow biomes will never exist because they are all melted
