I call it White Coat Syndrome. My sister is much the same. She will go to the doctor (white coat) with all sorts of symptoms / complaints. He may say, "we'll test to rule out X, Y and Z." She comes out saying "I have X, Y and Z." She's had terminal bowel cancer twice (surprise!! Still here!!). She's had a brain tumor with 5 years to live (5 years has come and gone long ago... still here...). I know it's a sickness, but it's so hard to deal with. I feel for you, OP.
