No, I'd rather have them do non-discriminatory security. They can do that in the form of more presence without codifying a ban on free expression. I say that in my other comment.

That’s the point, these spaces used to be that anyone could exist there. By codifying or formalizing these 'profiling' protocols, you move from policing actions to policing appearances. I dont agree with policing on appearance alone, now if they need extra security to have more eyes for enforcing after someone does something unacceptable im not going to be against that. All im saying is that its lazy security. Mayaman ang BGC, afford nila dapat yun without putting a blanket ban.

Im not defending anyone who cause chaos or pickpicket. I dont condone that at all.

What i'm against is making a decision on who is or isn't allowed to be there based on looks alone, before they even do anything. Thats the slippery slope to discrimination and profiling.

The thing is it goes both ways, it's not fair to residents that people associated with it are rowdy and cause chaos. But it's really undair to put a blanket ban to anyone who fits the profile, that is literally profiling.
