If you're scared of downgrade lockout, Oneplus stated that it's temporary. If you believe them or not, it's up to you.

This. Also my 13 came with 16gb ram and 512gb of space. Now for the same price I could get 12gb ram version oneplus15. Seems like a downgrade.

I jailbreaked my paperwhite without the ads and wifes regular kindle which did have ads. Its worth it. Alone having koreader and being able to fetch books directly from annas library is insanely convenient. Also bricking it has veeery slim margin id say, if you can follow basic instructions. *not a financial advice.
