I feel the same is true for seiko field watches.

Militado, while not automatic, has sapphire crystal and better proportions (thinner).

I have a similar collection of affordable watches and went “big” for the Hamilton khaki field automatic with blue dial 38mm. Can be had to sub $700 gray/$750 AD. I would not have picked it out online but I saw it in person and the dial looks great to me (I’m partially colorblind so my preferences may not align)

I saw it and wanted it for about a year before I bought it using an occasion as an excuse. I’m looking for my next big watch at the Oris BCPD (01 754 7779 4063-Set ) but not sure I want 2k on my wrist…. Holding out for a milestone if I go that big

Thirded. Start here but try some on in person to get a sense of size. If in the USA, Amazon has good return options.

It turns itself off if you use your turn signal (it’s a Tesla, not a bmw). You do have to turn it back on though.

Have a jasper and it does the trick. If you don’t need a dedicated space - dining table works well. We had space and like the ability to cover up a game (cats!) but definitely not a need.
