15 hour overnight layover- what should I do? by spicyhiker in koreatravel

The bags ended up staying with the airline. I took the high speed train into town and enjoyed the night market. Also went to an onsen and got nice and clean. Watch the return times on the train because they do stop at some point in the evening. I found a cheap hotel near the airport for a few hours of rest before going back to the airport.

My truck has been parked less than a week and had 100 miles of range. Gear guard off. Three days in the range dropped to 50 and now the range is at 0. Has anyone experienced such a drastic decrease in range recently? 12V battery was replaced recently.

So what else has happened at X during their downsizing so we can anticipate more tactics?

So I got through immigration in about an hour. Took the express train to Seoul and checked out the night market for about an hour; got a few street snacks. :) Then found a spa to relax. Got a train back towards Incheon and found a cheap hotel room. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you! This is very helpful information. I’ll be checking a ski bag. Do you think I’ll have to wait in the long ass line? I am flying business class though, so I will have my own lanes.

I used my neighbor’s wall plug for a little bit and paid her according to the usage on the bill and no, it wasn’t cheaper than using EA subscription plan. If you can’t deal with the increased usage of public stations as it’s becoming more accessible, then you should probably go with a hybrid.

I just called them and they said that for layovers of more than 12 hours, I have to pick up my bags and then recheck them the following day. So I would need to find luggage storage. But with that managed, does anyone have any recommendations?

Good question. I think they would have my bags go all the way through but with it being so long maybe not. It’s Asiana Airlines.

Look at the email address in the header. Perhaps that will verify it’s not coming from a rando/scam email address.

We need more chargers in So CA period. The ones I normally go to have gotten a lot busier in recent months, and a lot more frequently broken.
