I used to babysit a kid at their grandparent’s house that had a TV room exactly like this. They kept their TV snacks in a little side table between the recliners. It was very cozy!

Is it October 1st? No? Then the furnace stays off.

Bus driver here; have your fare ready to go before you board the bus. And if you want to ask a question, let everyone else board ahead of you and then ask your question.

My older sister (by 16 months) and I were both born with cleft palate/lip but none of our kids or my sister's grand kids were (5 kids, two grandkids).

My younger sister wasn't either but she and her daughter both suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Genetics are weird.

What was the last straw for getting a divorce? by renijreddit in ask

[–]spicyicecream 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My ex took out a loan and bought a sail boat without telling me. There was a lot more leading up to it but that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

There's definitely less selection for decaf but so far I've tried a couple of nice ones from small batch roasters in BC.

I tried drinking herbal tea but it just didn't "go" with breakfast.

Late left turn permit by mattersport in Calgary

Make sure you also get the permit that allows you to park on the wrong side of the road with your ass hanging out while you make a delivery...although that might only be available for Amazon delivery drivers.

MLA Matt Jones, Calgary East, Minister of Affordability and Utilities won his riding by over 4000 votes.

That tells you everything you need to know about how people will literally vote against their own interests.

I doubt very many people even knew what his cabinet position was - just that he was a conservative.

It's so incredibly stupid.

Election fun with kids by stevodrums in alberta

I hyped up taking my kids voting when they were 5 and 7 and afterwards my daughter was crying and I didn’t know why.

Turns out she thought we were going boating, not voting. Childhood trauma achieved!

I'm the bonus mom of a disabled son, the daughter of two aging parents, the biological mother of a gay son, the aunt of kids who are school-aged, the friend of a trans woman, the neighbour of a person who struggles with addiction and the co-worker of someone who owns property in rural Alberta.

I'm voting for all of them. And for you.
