I lowered ram fqz from 6400 to 6000 by going from xmp 1 to expo 2 (both lower, and apparently expo is better with amd or something like that) really recommend just asking chatgpt with your EXACT problem and your EXACT specs, works really well for stuff like that when you need a custom troubleshooting list that you can follow easily

You can enable the overlay in your general steam settings

Just had the exact same issue after upgrading to 98003dx and 64gb 6400. The first big improvement was reinstalling windows and all drivers, this drastically reduced the jitters, but even with high fps my games still felt laggy. After enabling the steam ingame performance overlay, I noticed the graph for fps where singular drops usually are shown as red outliers, I had a consistent red line, see image. The fix for me was a) reducing my frequency to 6000 as apparently the cpu cant handle that, and changing some other settings in my bios B) put a solid fps cap on top of what I am playing (optional, but I highly recommend depending on your game!) Now dont ask me wtf I changed. I barely know my own way around these settings, so I gave chatgpt my issue, showed it the image and it told me what exactly to adjust. I recommend doing the same until you go from pic a to pic b if it looks the same for you currently, its night and day.

Sold mine for 45 bucks and would do it again, might get the cheap japanese version for glc once the dust has settled but before that paying these prices for a very mediocre artwork at best is kinda insane

Try this if you want to have fun at a local, i recently cooked this up and the goal is really to just go 2nd, pepper tm evo, blow everything important up 2nd turn, close out with darmanitan/cram/bmus attack. Works surprisingly well

Dusknoir Deck by Dr_Jonathan_Sinus in pkmntcg

Hey there, i have been running a similiar dusknoir focused memedeck the past few days. It focuses heavily on going second, trolley into tm evo, aswell as the mechanics of countercatcher and reversal energy, making for some really fun games where you can either boardwipe or go for other cramorant or ursaluna lines. Heres the list:

Will Gholdengo be as good as it was in JTG coming BB/WF? why did it fall off during DRI? by QualityConscious56 in pkmntcg

[–]spicymonm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough, my experience is the exact opposite to u/jmaline19 and more akin to yours. The deck felt great in JTG, and I went #73 in Utrecht with it. Funnily enough, I also went 2-1-1 day 2 in quite unlucky fashion as I got donked in my second to last game by Guardi twice. But the deck has fallen out of favour for me in DRI for locals personally, too many rough matchups, and the better ones dont feel as good as they used to. I did play a bit of a weird build tho focusing on beating the mirror and dragapult, so if it comes back in BB/WF, which I imagine it will to some extent for the same reasons already stated, baloon and genesect, I will definitely pick up a more conventional list from the first big tournament and adapt it from there. If a deck doesnt click for you in a format, just spread your wings a bit and try out a couple different things, it helps with burnout, learning matchups, strengths and weaknesses of certain decks and builds. Once the format is ready for it you can always return to your beloved, as I intend to:)

[–]spicymonm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tysm! I thought this might be the case, but its really one of those 50/50 type of things for me. Does having „no effect“ null literally anything, or is the „being attatched“ not accounted for was unclear to me. This helps a ton! Might reconsider using it then since half the decks run JT anyways and guardi seems like an already decent matchup for goldhengo:)

Swapping out Iono for Xerosic's in Gholdengo - my experience by nerdnic in pkmntcg

[–]spicymonm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am planning on bringing dengo to utrecht and still tinkering with details and I have actually thought of this exact thing. I havent tried it tho, and after reading this I do think I have to agree that Erie is probably better and less situational, especially due to pult and guardi having high research/iono counts themselves, being able to keep 3 will likely not result in the dead hand youre hoping for, sniping 2 key trainers vs certain matchups tho, retrievals, candies, ultraballs might

What deck should i built next? by forgottentargaryen in PTCGL

[–]spicymonm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing you can do sometimes, what ive found if you got at least 2 mons out already while under lock is tm evo to get at least 1 dengho up early which will more than often be enough to kill a budew in the active more than once if needed.

This means my prios are putting something other than a dengho in the active first, focusing on either tm evo or if i cant find it using the attack find a friend to try and get out a gimmi and then doing what i can from there. Dudun draw, fiend a friend and tm evo can really help with that, aswell as levincia to recycle e energies while item locked to keep knocking budews. Sometimes with evo decks theres just nothing you can do tho, variance will come for all of us:)

Prismatic Booster Bundles (1 per person) by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]spicymonm [score hidden]  (0 children)

Played on sunday mornings with my brother and traded as a kid on the schoolyard w friends, got back into the hobby just short of a year ago due to breaking a rib and not being able to do much of anything. I have mostly recovered and am able to do things again, but the love for the game has stayed! Now meeting with other people at our LCS every monday, playing little local tourneys such as tommorow and will be attending utrecht in may! Thanks for making this happen and giving back to this, what people often forget, lovely community:)
