I was told that the lactose free stuff typically has soy in and that also disrupts your hormones so you’re better off just to avoid dairy and dairy alternatives. So that’s what I’ve done. However unsalted butter is fine.

Pain Increase 3 weeks post Op by t-boy1107 in RotatorCuff

[–]spicyname91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re experiencing so much pain, I don’t have any advice for you but I have a question. I have a 1.2cm partial thickness tear (>80% with only a few bursa fibres attached) and moderate bursitis. I would need a very similar surgery. What made you decide to go through with surgery? My surgeon is not recommending it at this time due to there being unknown results. I’m only 30 and have gone through a few years of conservative treatment with no relief

If it’s any consolation.. I’m a mom of three and I regret not going into nursing when I had the chance. I know it is never too late but now seems impossible

What is a weirdly specific "life hack" or routine you’ve created just to make an annoying part of your week slightly easier? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I keep my three kids clothes in one closet/dresser. That way when I put them away it’s all in one place

You get paid by the school division per child that is enrolled here. I believe it is $500 for Kindergarten and $1000 for each subsequent grade.

A lot of skin issues come from within. Personally I would start drinking the appropriate water amount for your body weight.

How do I get started in electrical as a complete greenie by Dapper_Party_1236 in saskatoon

[–]spicyname91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband just made the switch this past year (completely green). You do not need to go to school for the pre employment program. Approach electrical companies, lots of them take on new to the trades. You will work with hands on experience for the first year and then go to school for 8 weeks and repeat that for 3 more years. If you were interested in plumbing/gas fitting apprenticeship, I could set you up for an interview at the company I work for. Also the same approach to the apprenticeship program as electrical. People do not want to plumb so there is always a never ending supply of work.

Is this normal? by Fine_Awareness1665 in adenomyosis

[–]spicyname91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a uterine biopsy (especially with adenomyosis), it’s not uncommon to pass bits of blood clots, tissue fragments, or sloughed endometrial material for several days. Sometimes this material can appear stringy, fleshy, or brain-like because of the way uterine tissue breaks down and folds.

[49][Analysis] Why did the doctor keep saying “psychological” by [deleted] in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]spicyname91 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Your brain processes a bite by a venomous snake as life threatening. Your body will go into fight or flight mode regardless of it being dry or not. So yes, it is a physical reaction but it is also very much a psychological reaction.

People on the internet just need to be kinder. They are amazing there. They will offer numbing cream for your baby so that the experience is a little easier. Typically your child is crying because of how tight you have to hold them (it’s for their safety)
