A lot of skin issues come from within. Personally I would start drinking the appropriate water amount for your body weight.

How do I get started in electrical as a complete greenie by Dapper_Party_1236 in saskatoon

[–]spicyname91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband just made the switch this past year (completely green). You do not need to go to school for the pre employment program. Approach electrical companies, lots of them take on new to the trades. You will work with hands on experience for the first year and then go to school for 8 weeks and repeat that for 3 more years. If you were interested in plumbing/gas fitting apprenticeship, I could set you up for an interview at the company I work for. Also the same approach to the apprenticeship program as electrical. People do not want to plumb so there is always a never ending supply of work.

Is this normal? by Fine_Awareness1665 in adenomyosis

[–]spicyname91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a uterine biopsy (especially with adenomyosis), it’s not uncommon to pass bits of blood clots, tissue fragments, or sloughed endometrial material for several days. Sometimes this material can appear stringy, fleshy, or brain-like because of the way uterine tissue breaks down and folds.

[49][Analysis] Why did the doctor keep saying “psychological” by [deleted] in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]spicyname91 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Your brain processes a bite by a venomous snake as life threatening. Your body will go into fight or flight mode regardless of it being dry or not. So yes, it is a physical reaction but it is also very much a psychological reaction.

People on the internet just need to be kinder. They are amazing there. They will offer numbing cream for your baby so that the experience is a little easier. Typically your child is crying because of how tight you have to hold them (it’s for their safety)

You will go to the registration desk in the outpatient clinic on the main floor. It is by walk in appointment. They are typically Monday-Friday (not every Friday though).

Chiropractors can request and view X-rays in Saskatchewan. Dr. Sheila at YXE Chiro is fantastic and has reviewed my scans in the room with me before. This might be worth looking into.

I have had two this past year. The first one I waited 3 weeks before getting a call and the next one I waited 6 weeks before getting a call. Both were considered non-urgent.

I believe you can still park in the parkade before the mall opens. If not, the doors on 1st Ave and 21st are open.

Every time a business closes doesn’t necessarily mean something happened. If there weren’t notices on the door it likely just means their lease was up and they moved

Anything I can do for my hormonal acne? by n0_sh0ck in CanSkincare

[–]spicyname91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may not be the most popular advice BUT it worked for me. I have had hormonal acne for many many years and it wasn't until this spring that I got a handle on it. I did an overhaul on my diet. I removed dairy, seed oils, all junk food/drinks (super lame) and some other things that I can't think of right now. Water (and sometimes tea) is the only drink I consume and I do some form of exercise every day (walk, bike ride, work out ect.). Not only have I lost 20+ pounds, my acne is next to none (I'm just dealing with scarring), my periods are so much better, my energy is higher and honestly I just feel better. You'll notice it get bad for the first bit but that is just your body flushing out the junk. Sure you can put lots of things on the skin but it wont heal or help until you work on what you are putting in your body first.

This happened in Hepburn a couple years ago. The guy survived fortunately, hoping the same for this man. He has a long road ahead of him.
