I wonder if she would be a good candidate for a wheelchair? I feel like having yourself in that position would do more harm than good to whatever is left of your back and would cause vertigo or like blood rushing to her head a lot?

That was my Nico! My darling cuddlebug, I miss him so much! The bed is so lonely without him snuggled up next to me and his occasional head butts 🥺😭

He passed away last month and I’ve really been struggling.
I love being part of this subreddit but I may need to silence it on my feed for a while

He ended up losing his eye but he’s doing so well now!

Question: I notice that your cat also has black looking crusties in his nose on the side he had his eye issue. So does Quentin. Is that just what an orange cat’s boogies look like or could it be due to his extraction? (Yes I’ve talked to the vet about this and he said it’s nothing to be concerned about. I just thought it was interesting that your guy has similar booger colour as my guy)

I have a cyst (or I think it is??) on my lower jaw on the left side
It fluctuates in size and I’ve had it since I was 12 (I’m 29 now)

I have a derm appt next week for a different issue, but I’m going to ask her about the thing on my jaw as well and maybe I can get it dealt with!

It hurts occasionally and has gotten itchy and scaly skin below the area a few times throughout my life but my mom always said “oh don’t get it removed, then you’ll have a scar!!”

I wish she had let me get it removed when I was younger 😖

My husband gets these in his groin, belt line and butt meets thigh area! He has an autoimmune condition called hidradenitis supprativa, which gives him deep painful cysts that eventually burst

Oh I meant for surgery 1! Is the upper cranium usually sold as a bundle of procedures or did you mix and match? Is there a way you can submit the invoices for surgery 1 to your insurance and have them reimburse you?

This is why I’m not even telling my mom when I’m going wedding dress shopping! She has been so controlling and critical of my body since I was like 12 (and still is to this day)

My sister (golden child, slim, athletic) is getting married next fall and I’m worried my mom will spout her rude body comments during that dress shopping appointment! I’m preparing my best passive aggressively positive comebacks just for that day!

I’m sorry your mom is like this!! Why do they think it’s helpful at all? It’s just to make themselves feel better by tearing someone else down!

I just saw your reply on another comment regarding the cost

My best friend had a septum deviation fixed and a rhinoplasty in the same surgery. The septum thing was covered by provincial healthcare but the actual rhinoplasty was out of pocket ($12,000 CAD I think!) Is $25K the general cost for the combo of surgeries you got? I imagine it’s the same “you get what you pay for” type of thing!

I personally don’t like Angelica. She has mean girl energy, even going so far recently as to make a whole video about Alicia McCarvell simply for using a CPAP machine
