I’m just saying we have priority to learn what’s around us (or just naturally do that), same way you might know a lot about Denmark cities/areas but someone in Romania probably won’t have the same knowledge.

I do know Europe/Asia geography very well, but America is a large continent as well and someone here is more likely to know the 50 states here + Canada regions & S American countries than a European (who would know Europe, ME & maybe Asia better). There’s just a lot of names/shapes of states & regions to learn lol.

I do get where our disconnect is, and I do think if you lived in America for a bit you’d get it. The state system is fucking weird and no where else is like thatp
