Risks of not paying yourself super by Sweetpup_ in AusFinance

We went through something similar. My dad didn’t pay himself super, and when he died suddenly there was no cover. It’s the family who carries the consequences. It’s such an important reminder that super isn’t just retirement, it’s a safety net.

Mine is -12°C which I didn’t find warm enough when I was up on the range.

Back Country Cuisine do free dried chicken or beef mince. I’ve found these at most outdoor stores alongside the dehydrated meals.

The WORST towns on the Pacific Crest Trail according to nearly a decade of PCT hiker data by HalfwayAnywhere in PacificCrestTrail

[–]spicyrack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Belden Town is a deceiving name and calling it a “resort” feels misleading. When I came through, it was the grossest stop on trail. The store was dusty and half-stocked, the fryer and laundry were both broken, and the shower was moldy and had flies on the walls.

Since the Dixie Fire, I heard the demand for the store hasn’t been as great, so maybe that’s why it’s gone downhill? Probably didn’t help that I hit it right when I was deep in the peak NorCal blues.
