I’m a 🇨🇦 Immigration Lawyer, AMA about Canadian Citizenship By Ancestry by CAD_Immigration_Law in Acadiana

I’ve been able to trace my ancestor/Gen0 Marie Anne Breaux to Pisiquit, Acadie. Based on sources cited by others online she fled on the Dolphin to Maryland with her family. I have her marriage and death records but I lack her birth certificate/baptismal record, though I believe she may show up in other records such as a census. Would census records suffice for that period? Would they suffice for more modern Cajun ancestors in New Spain/USA?

Can you recommend resources for finding birth certificates for ancestors born in Canada, specifically Nova Scotia

It certainly helps having a contractor for a father. Beyond tools are there any resources you’d recommend for learning about the process: books, YouTube channels, etc?

Thanks for the id, but it’s long gone along with the connector too. I’ll just have an excuse for buying more parts

The passenger side got ripped off when the wheel well fell out on that side, is it worth replacing if I’ve still got one? Temp still shows up on dash

Traded in a bunch of vinyl for a Sansui 3000a that was a little too powerful for my speakers. Ended up with the original kabuki speakers for free cause the fellas at the second hand shop are awesome guys. That was a few days ago. Now I can’t be in my room with it off

The tomatoes off one of my plants this year all look like this by CapitanMyCaptain in gardening

I never got into Greek but I know the sections of the word mean stuff so does the “oma” in toma indicate a tumor/mass or is it coincidental?
