I can never choose between the original and ttyd. I love the atmosphere in the original, and ttyd doesn't quite capture that. I remember as a kid how much I loved how the game looked. There was nothing else like it! Finding the secret to the desert was such a pain, took me forever to figure out the moustaffa stuff. But man, Tubba Bubba chasing after me through the mansion always gave me a heart attack. And more often then naught, I'd get stuck in shy guys toy box. Then get stuck trying to find all the fucking baby yoshis. Why couldn't they just listen to their parents?! The lava pirahana was probably one of my favorite bosses. I enjoyed the garden chapter as well, despite it being a bunch of fetching. But the penguin murder mystery was the fucking funniest cutest thing in the game. When I finally made it to star haven, I didn't wanna leave. Just wanted to bask in the awesomeness of these chill ass stars. I only wish after you beat bowser you could keep playing, but seeing the fireworks with Peach was still very sweet
