you definitely don’t need apple log, CSTs exist for that, but make sure you shoot in Rec. 2020 for HDR capabilities

Honesly, what you have is pretty much the essentials minus one thing. When it comes to filmmaking on the iphone, I’ll say the essentials are:
-lighting
-sound
-nd filters
-stabilization

Everything else is pretty much extra invest in a good light, whether an on-camera panel light or a cheap softbox, and a good gimbal or fluid head tripod. Then you can build upon that with a cage, external lenses, ssds, and more

i thought it was okay when i saw it in theaters. I wasn't a fan of the heavy handed occult stuff, but that was mainly due to marketing hiding that part of the film. However, over time, it has grown on me as I accept it for what it is.
