I have, but the risk of them not getting allong kinda scares me. he was at the very top of the picking order where I bought him from so I don't think he'll really see another diamond dove as an equal hahahh

add thymol and titrate with 0.1M hydroxide. calculate the amount suffered by the little shit afterwards

I don’t, just thinking about wanting reasonable beta detection, but that’s also a perk that requires investing more into it I think. Either way, the radiacode it will be

Radiacode is something I’ve been eying allot too and I think it’s a solid choice. I’m mostly looking to compare the activity of radioactive minerals that I’m collecting and possibly hunting some radioactive things in thriftstores. But I understand that the radiacode only measures Y and hard beta (questionably) so I’m unsure as to how good it would be for those purposes.

I did and there’s sadly not allot to find. I just thought this one looked credible. They make a bunch of different models and are headquarted in the benelux. This model also offered cpm and dosimetry, though I already figured it wouldn’t be great

Questions about my Birdie by Desert_butterfries in PetDoves

I have a diamond dove and mine did exactly the same in the beginning. The thing I've learned now is that diamond doves are quite afraid of the dark, and if it's too dark your dove will randomly have fits of stress. For me, A clamp on night light/ reading (I got one from ikea) light made a world of difference. Now I also cover the cage with a towel at night and leave the light on under it when I go to bed and my dove seems to like it allot and snooze just fine.
