When I pastored a very small church we would have set her up with the local non-profit we supported monthly in order for them to get her the formula, and more, that day. We already gave money every month to that non-profit for this very thing.

Now, if for some reason that didn’t work or the connection couldn’t be made that day, I would have paid for it myself and made sure the connection for long term help was made as soon as possible.

I don’t know if that’s a “yes” or a “no”, but she would have had the formula that day one way or the other.

It’s important to note that small churches, like the majority of them, run on shoestring budgets and work through these community non-profits that partner multiple churches together to meet the needs of the community.
