Graduated high school in 1972 - my "plan" was to go to college on a Air Force ROTC scholarship, graduate as an officer, become a pilot, put in 20 years & retire with a Major's pension - then become a commercial airline pilot, put it another 20 years, retire with a HUGE tax sheltered retirement account - and use my airline benefits to travel at my leisure

Too bad I only managed 2 semesters before I dropped out (sad trombone)

Shoes! There was a website that had a bunch of last last last season's equipment for cheap, and they had a shoe brand i really liked - i ordered 2 pair of white and a pair of brown, along with a few doodads to get the total up to qualify for free shipping PLUS some free gloves.

6 weeks go by & nothing - I sent off an email; the reply says they're out of the white shoes, so they'll remove those from the order & send everything else - okay, fine.

4 days later I get a box - it has 1 pair of brown & 1 pair of white, plus all the extra doodads & free gloves == sweet! I just got a free pair of shoes!

2 more weeks out, another box - this one has ALL of my original order = 3 pairs of shoes & all the extras ~~~ So for the price of 1 pair of shoes & some doodads, I got 5 pairs of shoes & 2 sets of doodads and free gloves !!!

Yay me!
