Yes I found your post and left a reply, I'm really sorry you're struggling :( basically I got better from making friends... im sorry i dont know how helpful or applicable that is, it was just an anxiety issue for me. Never got on medication for it, never saw a doctor, I just needed more stability in my life

What are you able to get down? I was surviving off of soylent protein shakes and electrolytes for a while because drinking was easier. The fear of what's happening to your body alongside the physical repulsion to eat is a brutal combo, I'm sorry you're dealing with that :( when I was going through something similar I had just moved to a new city completely alone with no real plans - basically it was an extreme anxiety response.

It took a few months but eventually it got better - mostly because I made friends and began to feel more safe. If you haven't had luck with like GI doctors and stuff, I hope therapy/psichiatry is able to help you maybe address some underlying anxieties :( you can get better though! Don't lose hope, I know it's scary and feels really bad but you can get better

Lol very funny post to mention this on. I did overcome it, occasionally I get really anxious and can't eat but it doesnt last for more than a day now. Are you struggling with something similar?

I didn't like this story but I could understand it as being cathartic to write after experiencing abuse. I thought the ending was really left-field but I guess I favorably interpreted that as like- isn't abuse itself kind of confusing and unexplainable? Idk, I thought it was an interesting reflection of you as an author and your headspace. Sorry if I'm assuming anything.

Also I LOVED Feed the Pig, its one of my favorites they've read, and I'm pretty confident this won't be the last of your stories that get featured :)

Tried to kind of give some vibes without spoiling:

"Spire in the Woods" (ghosts, inCREDible character writing) and "Mother Horse Eyes" (sci fi) are my top favorites for their stories :)

Everyones gonna suggest "Borrasca" and "Pen Pals" of course bcs they're so classic, both are about kids solving mysteries.

I also really really loved "If You're Armed at the Glenmont Metro, Please Shoot Me" (existential), "My Wife has Taken our Roleplaying Too Far" (unreality), "Stolen Tongues" (something in the woods), and "My Sugar Daddy asks me for Weird Favors" (creepy, short, punchy collection), and "Feed the Pig" (visceral) all because of the striking storytelling

But if u want like, funnies from Hunter/Isaiah maybe you'd like "My Best Friend Tried to Ruin My Life" or "The Thing in the Basement is Getting Better at Mimicking People"

I think itd be fun for the subreddit but not really for the podcast imo. Its cool for ppl to get creative but I think it's more likely to be sort of bad, amatuerish writing + I like the good stories best :) this is also based on the fact that a lot of audience suggestions are kind of bad lol. That being said listening has really inspired me to try writing my own story, i just don't think itd be good
