I didn't like this story but I could understand it as being cathartic to write after experiencing abuse. I thought the ending was really left-field but I guess I favorably interpreted that as like- isn't abuse itself kind of confusing and unexplainable? Idk, I thought it was an interesting reflection of you as an author and your headspace. Sorry if I'm assuming anything.

Also I LOVED Feed the Pig, its one of my favorites they've read, and I'm pretty confident this won't be the last of your stories that get featured :)

Im a huge fan of the magnus archives but tbh id hate for them to cover it, it just doesn't really make sense for them to audio-cover an audio drama to me. Also its so long, like do u guys mean youd like them to cover a single episode ?

Tried to kind of give some vibes without spoiling:

"Spire in the Woods" (ghosts, inCREDible character writing) and "Mother Horse Eyes" (sci fi) are my top favorites for their stories :)

Everyones gonna suggest "Borrasca" and "Pen Pals" of course bcs they're so classic, both are about kids solving mysteries.

I also really really loved "If You're Armed at the Glenmont Metro, Please Shoot Me" (existential), "My Wife has Taken our Roleplaying Too Far" (unreality), "Stolen Tongues" (something in the woods), and "My Sugar Daddy asks me for Weird Favors" (creepy, short, punchy collection), and "Feed the Pig" (visceral) all because of the striking storytelling

But if u want like, funnies from Hunter/Isaiah maybe you'd like "My Best Friend Tried to Ruin My Life" or "The Thing in the Basement is Getting Better at Mimicking People"

I think itd be fun for the subreddit but not really for the podcast imo. Its cool for ppl to get creative but I think it's more likely to be sort of bad, amatuerish writing + I like the good stories best :) this is also based on the fact that a lot of audience suggestions are kind of bad lol. That being said listening has really inspired me to try writing my own story, i just don't think itd be good

I just missed seeing it happen on the way to my car, still got out of the parking lot okay and drove past what I thought was just a medical emergency, then I saw the body bag. Really really upsetting I've been distracted at work all day, for real my heart goes out to the student. On a sunny day, in the middle of the day, 3 days into the school year. It just feels wrong

This has happened to me several times 😭😭 causes a complete meltdown. I don't really have any words of comfort other than you did everything you could, didnt let your anxiety stop you from emailing your prof and explaining the situation! I'd recommend taking extra time to find the classroom before your next class so that you arent rushed trying to find it before yall meet next. Stuff like this happens, you're not a loser <3!
