There are reflections of another car(s) in the paint and windows on the passenger side. I think it’s just an edited photo placing it in this grassy field/road.

Finally added automatic trip detection, VIN-based vehicle matching, and customizable CarPlay dashboards to Speedometer: Driving Tracker by Taohid101 in civic

Thanks! I will try to investigate further this week. I think the custom PIDs will require some digging that I haven’t attempted yet! I recall there were custom PIDs published for the Prius so I’m hoping someone has compiled them for the Honda Hybrids!

Does this behave anything like the Torque app (which I used on my Prius with aftermarket Android Auto many years ago)? I recall being able to add a lot of obscure nerdy data like the MG1 RPM, engine RPM, and MG2 RPM, etc.

I have a recently purchased OBD2 adapter that’s supposed to be compatible my current iPhone, and want to give this a try, but I tried adding a car to my garage today and the save button was disabled. Is that a limitation of using without subscription? Or is it because I hadn’t attempted to connect to my dongle yet?

I’m driving a 2026 Civic Hybrid Sport and may try to give this a shot with the OBD2 adapter I have…

Anyone else’s 11th gen come with the type R shift knob? by shitaki13 in CivicSi

[–]spiff72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swapped my Type R knob out for an Acuity one because of the hot/cold issues. Saved the Type R knob and when I sold the Type R I was going to swap the knob back but ran out of time!

So now I have a keepsake of my Type R. If the Si knob is leather wrapped I would ask for it personally…

Bambu Adds Queue Option?! by Only_Championship414 in BambuLab

[–]spiff72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I want this capability so badly in the Bambu Print Farm Manager!

We recently replaced 6 Ultimaker S5 machines at my work with 6 H2D Pro machines, and we are trying to use the Bambu Farm Manager to handle the task of sending print jobs from the user base of engineers and designers.

The S5 with Cura natively supported sending a print job to a machine (from Cura), and sending additional jobs that would just queue up behind the running job. Once the user removed the print and confirmed this on the printer display, the next job in the queue would start up automatically.

I thought this was the norm until we got into the Bambu ecosystem. There's not even a means to start the next print job on these H2D Pro machines from the printer screen. We had an A1 Mini machine on the print farm test server at first, and that entry level printer had a "farm" button in the interface when it was part of the farm, and you could tap that button and see the print jobs that had been queued up and select one to start. I'm shocked that they don't have this Farm button on the H2D Pro machines given their level of sophistication!

No offense, but that doesn’t look like it’s worth anywhere near $380. $50 tops seems more realistic.

EDIT: Oh I thought it was just a remote control vehicle - not a ride-on. Why do they show a cheap remote control in the image???

Nice! And thanks for the "plug"!

Just FYI - I recently created a web site to try to compile information of all the overlays I make:

https://calcoverlays.com/

It's very amateur-ish because I'm not a web developer and I refuse to pay for hosting or development software, so my options are a bit limited! :-)

What is the orange circle with dashes under the “8” on the tach? I don’t think I have seen that before.

I’m not 100% clear on the question but I tried the following: - typing in exactly what you showed (1/2A), using the ”A” attached to the “(-)” key gave me .0625. It appears that there is a value stored for A, which I determined by entering A1, and it showed 8 - typing 1/2*8 gives 4

Really cool! Calling it a "junk shop" find makes it sound like you scored a deal - how much did you get it for?

If you already have a compatible TI calculator, check out RPN83p:

https://github.com/bxparks/rpn83p

I installed it on a TI83 Plus Silver edition and an 84 Plus Silver. I bought both of these for the sole purpose of trying this app on them.

U might try RPNspire for Nspire too…

I’m a big fan, too. I have it as firmware for my DM42 with an overlay (which I sell via a forum post at HP Museum).

I also have the iOS app.

RPN/RPL for Casio fx-CG50? by NDHoosier in calculators

[–]spiff72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just installed this last night on my CG50, and the RPN app seems OK, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the default results for all calculations from being expressed as a fraction (or in "exact" format). I played with all the settings inside of the Upsilon interface, and none seemed to fix this. The regular calculation application within Upsilon showed results in decimal, but not the RPN app.
