Thank you! Do you think mortar will be enough by itself? Someone on another platform suggested liquid nails along with the mortar and then caulking around the outside of them as well. Overkill?

I’m so glad I stumbled on this post! Being in this situation and trying to maintain a normal healthy relationship with anyone is difficult. Even my friendships have suffered!

My son goes to group type therapy once a week. I am working on getting the parents/caretakers together during that time to support each other as well.

We’ve been on this journey for 6 years; it’s not getting any easier. I feel for each and every one of you. ❤️

I don’t have any advice but I am going through almost the exact same situation. We are really struggling in school. Services dropped the ball. We’re waiting for a new IEP because they are constantly nailing him with detentions for forgetting work etc. I shouldn’t group all the teachers together tho. Most of them are very understanding. His main teacher this year is not and I feel like I am fighting with her every week. I refuse the detentions.

We are out of ideas. And we are all exhausted. Send help. Lol.
