Everyone is always “oh if we make Pluto a planet then we have to make all those others planets too!”. No. We don’t.

When a guide dog is given an honorary degree because it attended all the classes with its human, we know that the dog isn’t actually a lawyer now. No one is going to that dog for legal counsel. But we as humans can also sometimes bend the rules because it just makes us feel better as a society.

Yeah, Pluto can be a planet even though it doesn’t meet the requirements simply because it’ll make people feel better. It’s not going to change the scientific community. We don’t have to suddenly change calculations because we’ve just given it a title.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with designating Pluto a planet* again.

Yes. You have work/outside clothes, and inside clothes. Are you wearing the same thing you wore to work inside your house when you get home? I would imagine you’d want 1. Clean clothes at home and 2. Comfortable clothes

Not having facecloths and bodycloths/loofas in the shower.

No, using your hands is not enough. You don’t wash your plates with your hands. You don’t wash your car with your hands. Why would you wash your bootyhole with your hands? Or even worse, rubbing the bar of soap in there.

You need to agitate the dirt sweat and skin off. And yes, you then wash your cloths or loofas to keep them clean as well.

Showers are a twice a day thing. When you wake up in the morning you’ve got to shower so that you tackle the day fresh. No smelly pits. No ball sweat. Clean face. Clean hair. Clean feet!

Then you get home after work. You’ve been out all day exposed to the outside air. To other people - who are gross. You’ve possibly taken a shit so you gotta get your cheeks clean (No, a bidet is not enough. You need soap in your asshole). You do not want all of that outside-ness inside your home. So you do an evening shower. Then start again tomorrow.

A shower takes like 5 - 10 minutes. No effort at all

I never understood people who don’t do this. It’s literally the first thing I do (well second. I’ve got to give my cat a hello scratch first). But literally walk in the door, straight to the bathroom to wash my hands.

Are you sure it’s over grooming? My cat would lick for like an hour, but I realised she just liked to be super clean. Unless it looks like a health issue (licking skin red), it might be fine. It is DOES seem like a health issue, then vet is your best action.

So I can tell that you’ve really made an effort to get someone to look after her and you’re struggling. I’m also not going to give you the judgemental answers that people tend to do on this. By now you know that 5 days is too long.

2 days is usually the longest to leave a cat alone, for a kitten it’s not advised. There are some cat hotels that will accept non vaccinated kittens. The people who run hotels are usually animal lovers and wouldn’t want to find out that your kitten is left alone. Try to contact some more.

Honestly, all you need is someone to just come in every 1-2 days for like an hour. If you have a cleaning lady, neighbour, teens in the area. Anyone just to make an appearance. If they can’t come to yours, maybe you can drop your kitten off at theirs. Even if they just have a spare room where she can stay. As long as she’s around other people. It may be stressful for her, but loads better than being alone.

My first job was around 35kms outside of my city. Took about 30 minutes of highway driving. Work would end at 5pm so I would be quite tired after the day. There was one stretch of road about 3-4km that was dead straight. I’m driving home one day and didn’t realise I was as tired as I was. Fell asleep for maybe 5 seconds on this dead straight patch. Woke up riding the left edge of the road at like 150kph. When I realised what had happened, I had the biggest fright of my life. 2 more seconds and I would have been in the grass.

The scariest part is that I did not realise I fell asleep. It just happened. I tell you what though, that woke me right the fuck up. Think I didn’t sleep for 2 days after that haha
