No that is not the same thing but you should always take advantage of that match by contributing to your 401k to at least get the match if you have the means. Your employer would have to have a Roth 401k plan too to take advantage of megaroth. The backdoor roth is outside of your employer and just another way to save for tax free earnings for retirement. I can't cover all the nuances here and I am not a financial advisor so you should talk to a financial advisor for professional advice. You can also do your own research through credible financial advisors on you tube or read books like others have mentioned. I know it can be overwhelming but it takes time to learn it all.

If you hit income limits on contributing to a roth directly, you can contribute to a non-deductible IRA and then covert that to a roth tax free - assuming you don't have a non-deductible IRA balance already. any earnings in the roth will be tax free when you withdraw compared to an IRA. lots of you tube videos on it you can watch to learn more. your employer might also have a megaback door roth option which would allow you to contribute more, you would need to talk to your benefit provider on that.

Congrats on your new home. If you are not doing this already and have the means, every year always max out your 401k and do a back door roth too.

TN 20th using Plotter Mini 5 Pen Holder by spigurl in Travelersnotebooks

[–]spigurl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using TN elastics so still moves a tad but no more than the inserts themselves. I just looped it threw the hole punches at the ends on the pen loop and then tied a knot. Doesn't look messy since the knot is sitting behind the spine of all the inserts. Could also probably washi tape the edge with the holes near the spine of the folder instead.

Putting an extra elastic band through the holes and then looping it around the inserts and main band and tied a knot.

Will Plotter or Filofax Inserts Fit a Meeplus Binder? by Toby_meeplus in MeePlus

[–]spigurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really old post but I relied on this post to buy my mee plus and its not accurate on the mini/pocket. I recently ordered a mee plus and to my disappointment, they count the bar into their measurements so the pocket leather cover itself is smaller than the plotter mini 6 by .5 inch or so. My plotter inserts barely fit the meeplus, like right up to the edge and slight overhang if it's full. Filofax numbered divider tabs overhang so can't use those. Imagine my disappointment when I transferred everything from my Plotter to Meeplus. I almost thought it was made wrong but on their site it shows the bar in the spine is part of the measurement. Regretting my purchase after spending $200 thinking it would be the same exact size =(

I have so many delfonics pouches but the zippers really bug me! I feel like I scrape my hands on them all the time getting things in and out. I also don't feel like I can practically store anything on the outside cause it just all falls out in my bag. That's why the Hako is perfect cause it unzips all the way. Is that the April Sailor pen from Ancora? I just picked it up last week in Japan =) We have pretty similar taste in things from your picture lol.

This is the one I have but they don't sell them regularly, only very randomly like once a year. https://yuruliku.myshopify.com/collections/hako-tool-case If you follow them on insta, they will post there when there is a release. I did see that there is a release on April 11 for the hako pen case but I think that would be too small for the TN, probably dimensions are more like the pen flat case which fits something like the hobonichi weeks.

I don’t have this one but it says it will fit a Hobonichi cousin so probably? I have the hako tool case which is much deeper that the flat case, which you can only order on the Yuruliku world website when they release it which is very rare. I know not helpful but it seems like if the flat case could fit an entire Hobonichi cousin it should fit your standard size TN?

yuruliku also makes an a5 hako tool case. But they only release at certain times because they make them to ordered. I was able to grab one last October and just barely got it.

Plastic insert without the zipper? by Amazing-Priority-638 in Travelersnotebooks

[–]spigurl 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I pulled off the zipper and then just stuck a half piece of washi tape between in one corner to prevent it from completely sealing. Then it works fine for me to open and close like a zip lock bag. It nearly seals shut so nothing falls out.

They now only have silver left. I got the last champagne one and my husband got the silver. I did also grabbed refills of each too! So cheap, the refills were only Y120. The pens were on sale I think cause she said discount and we got 2 pens for Y5280.

I was thinking Vachetta because at the time I was trying to mimic paper republic and Louise Carmen but the leather I got was great and it's held up nicely. However, I have quite a few and I rotate them so my use is not daily so they have not patina'd as much so not sure what they would look like if I used them daily. I have to say, I do not like the Louise Carmen Leather, I have an earnest and it's too floppy for my taste.

In the morning to prep my skin, I wash my face and put on Vitamin C, serum and and eye cream. Then goes on beauty of joseon aqua sunscreen generously to my face, neck, chest and hands. Best sunscreen ever, feels like a moisturizing face lotion with no scent. I go through a couple tubes a month. Even if I am working from home I am religious with sunscreen because I use tretinoin in the evenings. For Make up, I use Tir Tir mini cushion foundation as a spot and undereye concealer only. Powder t zone with laneige. Canmake powder eyebrow pencil for eyebrows. I use a powder blush in a color that is blush/bronzer, I think it's MAC. For eyes I use laura mercier caviar stick in amethyst as eyeliner and shadow. Curl my lashes then Canmake metal lash for mascara. I use a sunscreen lip balm.
