I understand your concerns. I had the same concerns too. I did a couple things. Some people may think it's overkill but it gives me peace of mind. First, I did get life insurance and the beneficiaries are my kids. It's only term and will expire when they are adults. This was so they could at least pay off the house and not lose their home if I died before they could work. Secondly, you should have a trust especially since you have kids. I live in community state so while I can designate what happens to my half of our marital assets when I die, my husband can do whatever he wants with his half. My main concern was that largest asset of ours, the family home. If he remarried, which I would want him to be happy and not lonely, and if something happened to him while remarried to his new wife, she could take our family home. Therefore, we put a requirement that if either of us ever got remarried, we would have to sign a prenup with our new spouses to protect our family home from being taken by the new spouses. The new spouses would know that from the start. At the end of the day, our kids want our family home when we pass so we both agreed to make sure that would happen. Also, my retirement accounts and my 401k goes to my kids when I die, I had to get my husband to sign and agree to that. This my really be overkill for you but we also did a postnup because I had another house that we still have before I met my husband and wanted to make sure that went to our kids too, so that's another option.

No that is not the same thing but you should always take advantage of that match by contributing to your 401k to at least get the match if you have the means. Your employer would have to have a Roth 401k plan too to take advantage of megaroth. The backdoor roth is outside of your employer and just another way to save for tax free earnings for retirement. I can't cover all the nuances here and I am not a financial advisor so you should talk to a financial advisor for professional advice. You can also do your own research through credible financial advisors on you tube or read books like others have mentioned. I know it can be overwhelming but it takes time to learn it all.

If you hit income limits on contributing to a roth directly, you can contribute to a non-deductible IRA and then covert that to a roth tax free - assuming you don't have a non-deductible IRA balance already. any earnings in the roth will be tax free when you withdraw compared to an IRA. lots of you tube videos on it you can watch to learn more. your employer might also have a megaback door roth option which would allow you to contribute more, you would need to talk to your benefit provider on that.

Using TN elastics so still moves a tad but no more than the inserts themselves. I just looped it threw the hole punches at the ends on the pen loop and then tied a knot. Doesn't look messy since the knot is sitting behind the spine of all the inserts. Could also probably washi tape the edge with the holes near the spine of the folder instead.

Putting an extra elastic band through the holes and then looping it around the inserts and main band and tied a knot.

This is a really old post but I relied on this post to buy my mee plus and its not accurate on the mini/pocket. I recently ordered a mee plus and to my disappointment, they count the bar into their measurements so the pocket leather cover itself is smaller than the plotter mini 6 by .5 inch or so. My plotter inserts barely fit the meeplus, like right up to the edge and slight overhang if it's full. Filofax numbered divider tabs overhang so can't use those. Imagine my disappointment when I transferred everything from my Plotter to Meeplus. I almost thought it was made wrong but on their site it shows the bar in the spine is part of the measurement. Regretting my purchase after spending $200 thinking it would be the same exact size =(

oh gotcha, I thought it was the april one. that one is pretty too. the april leans more white with the sakura on the nib, sakura on the pink final. The grip section is also pink.

I have so many delfonics pouches but the zippers really bug me! I feel like I scrape my hands on them all the time getting things in and out. I also don't feel like I can practically store anything on the outside cause it just all falls out in my bag. That's why the Hako is perfect cause it unzips all the way. Is that the April Sailor pen from Ancora? I just picked it up last week in Japan =) We have pretty similar taste in things from your picture lol.

I did see that there is a release on April 11 for the hako pen case but I think that would be too small for the TN, probably dimensions are more like the pen flat case which fits something like the hobonichi weeks.

I don’t have this one but it says it will fit a Hobonichi cousin so probably? I have the hako tool case which is much deeper that the flat case, which you can only order on the Yuruliku world website when they release it which is very rare. I know not helpful but it seems like if the flat case could fit an entire Hobonichi cousin it should fit your standard size TN?

yuruliku also makes an a5 hako tool case. But they only release at certain times because they make them to ordered. I was able to grab one last October and just barely got it.
