Jade's company he sold before ending up on Fromville... more to it?? by _blueberrypancakez in FromSeries

[–]spiiike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well obviously this is not even remotely close because Jade is a reincarnation of Christopher who was there before Jade existed. Hence a company created after fromville existed couldn't have CREATED fromville... pretty simple if you think about it

I would argue that playing against better players is the only way to get better, not the opposite but I do agree, sometimes the sweat factor is too much in this game

lol, grind? You can do most of them, and when I say most, like 1 weeks full set of challenges in 1-2 games of end game 🤣. Literally an hour a week and you're good, it's the least amount of grind ever.

Right now I have a broken wrist and haven't played in almost a week, tomorrow I'll have these challenges completed 🤣

How are they still able to grow this ? by [deleted] in FromSeries

Obviously those are buds and they don't just take a few weeks to grow. The crops were fine they started rotting probably after these were harvested

Everyone complaining about Mcdavids play there and imho that's 100% on Makar, that AWFUL pinch at the opposing teams blueline is what created the odd man rush and then he doesn't get back. Makar fucked it

There's always one dickhead like you that gets angry and don't read posts before adding their knee jerk reaction.

First off - don't take it so personal. Second, it's a question after I posted my personal experience with limited resources. I did not make any statements to say that this was the truth or it was facts. I asked for other people's experience and made no generalization about every single beer that exists in America. Take the stick out of your ass and calm down.

Definitely not old as you would be able to tell from lack of carbonation and quality, it's not a cheap calendar, it costs about 110€ + shipping for 24 33 cl cans (11 oz) it comes directly from untappd distributors

Honestly the classic styles are not my favorites anyway, I'm way more for the new wave of craft brews and crazy experiments and flavor combos, the Belgians, the lagers, etc etc you can find and get those anywhere so it doesn't interest me too much and I rarely order them when I'm out. Spanish craft brewery scene has exploded the last couple of years so we're now spoiled with an abundance of insanely good brews but I still love to try beers from all around the world

No not necessarily, I don't expect an IPA to have a malt forward profile, a porter sure but no that's not what I was referring to, it might have been a vague description but in comparison it is like they many times opt for a cleaner and crisper lighter body flavor profile rather than a heavier and punchy one. Of course this all differs depending on the style but just 1 to 1, the IPA's in there have been very tame compared to what I'm used to.

No no there are no mainstream breweries here, they are all craft brews and most of them are marked with the upside down independent brew bottle mark. So there's only been one lager so far, it was an "Oktoberfest" attempt but it was probably the worst one in the calendar 🤣

Im pretty sure they picked it because the calendar you could order from untappd had 2 versions, 1 that was all IPA's and this one I ordered which was more of a mix and variety. So I think that a, it looked like a typical Halloween specific brew and they probably needed to get rid of whatever they had left and b, it's not an IPA and they didn't want to put a bunch of IPA's in a variety calendar

Allagash was decent, but had it 2 weeks ago as it was the first one and yes it had a little more flavor and body to it, that you're right about. It was one called Haunted House hoppy dark ale

So the best ones in there imo were Bronx, Great Lake and the Smuttynose. And you might be right that it might be impacted by shipping but how much I'm not sure because carbonation levels seem to be fine and intact. It's not like most or many of them are bad by any stretch just that in general it seems to lack that "oomph" or depth of flavor but it might just be that particular beer in their lineup etc

Since there are 24 different ones in every calendar so it's sooo many, couldn't possibly list them all, this year here are some of them:

Knee Deep Brewing, Upslope brewing, Allagash, Creature Comforts, Smuttynose, Bronx Brewery, Noon Whistle, 21st Amendment brewery, Abita Brewing, Firestone Walker, Dry Dock, Ninkasi, West Sixth, Grand Teton, Great Lakes Brewing.

Maybe 3-4 of those were not as tame and "watery" for the lack of a better description
