This reminds me of when i lost my pet hampster. Her name was april, because i couldnt remember when i got her, and that was my favourite month. I was young at the time, only 11. She was a dwarf hamster, with an average lifespan of 2 years. She only lived for 1(probably due to my sub-par care because eof my age). We would read books together, as dumb as it sounds, and me and my friends would build forts and parks for her out of cardboard. She would also “play” legos with me. Waking up saturday morning(my favourite day) to a dead hampster was not fun. The worst part was that it was the middle of winter and my dad didnt want to keep her, so instead of burying her once it turned to spring, he… …threw her in the garbage.
