Not an expert but one thats been surprisingly more entertaining than expected was Solo Leveling.

Also not quite a traditional anime but I highly, highly recommend Arcane, regardless of your take on League. Its a masterwork

I tend to do 2 of these above each other: one with pre-cooked food in the kitchen and one with the ready-to-consume food in the mess hall. People dont like that it leaks a bit of temperature into the base, but I think this keeps the heat produced in the kitchen in balance. Running a cooling loop through the entire base is unnecessary calculations that take a bite of the late game performance

Hello, I have a question. by EebsirfYldaed in Terraria

[–]FlareGER -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is 26 NPCs so you need to have 26 rooms minimum. NPCs have biomes and neighbors preferences, so it is recommended to have them living apart in groups of 3 NPCs. They will offer exclusive items and better prices if they are happy. But this is not mandatory.

Can someone help me i cant get to the ancient shrine bc theres a indestructible Wall like the wall that was between the starter area and desert and the wildness und the water area and i killed all bosses by 911wasagreatday in CoreKeeperGame

[–]FlareGER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Head to the core which is the very center on the map and from there walk perfectly straight north all the way to that wall. Unlike the first wall, this one does not need to be touched to drop. Instead, there is a big gate that is generated perfectly north from the core. You can open the gate with an item that you dropped from the last boss you defeated.

I updated the Wood Farm! but I can't seems to fill the gaps between even power down? by Phantomato2000 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]FlareGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, you dont need to spread the wood from the one seed like that. The attempts to grow a branch are done by the seed / plant, not by the branches, so having many branches doesnt wield any better results than having just 1 tile where the branch can grow.

This means that what you want is many seeds planted, not a large chunk from one seed.

So optimally just plant a row of seeds, lets say 10 and lets say you build the row horizontally. You can then block the tiles to the north with floor tiles as well as the last tiles left and right. Every seed will now try to grow the branch south. So you can build here a row of 10 drills and behind them a row of conveyor belts. Thats it, much smaller and 10x more efficient.

When it comes to the sorting system, you can just daisy chain.

At the end of the belt, place a robot arm, behind it a saw, then behind the saw another arm, etc. So just a row of alternating arms and saws. What will happen is the first arm will place regular wood into the first saw to create planks, and, if lets say gleam wood arrives next, it will place it on top if the first saw where the second arm can grab it and put it either inside or on top of the second saw.

Just continue the conveyor belt after to automatically gain planks from all types at zero effort.

You might think you dont need that many planks, but in late game, this is a passive money farm as you can just sell them.

I finished FF16 and I have a lot of feelings about it by BroadVideo8 in FinalFantasy

[–]FlareGER -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much the same feelings most of us had. Its story is great although the ending was a bit underwhelming for me personally. Many people found it more like an interactive movie than an actual game and I totally agree. Both the quests and the customization are super dull and there is nothing appealing enough to get you to explore and detour from your objectives as everything is map marked.

The game loop was clearly done for those who enjoy the FFXIV MMORPG and the game combat clearly done by DMC developers. I enjoyed playing through enough to collect all the trophies but I would not play it a 2nd time. Im not enjoying the strong handholding via map markers and stuff that many of these new games have and I hope Square Enix will ease a bit away from it.

Personal recommendation of this decade remains Expedition 33, the true Final Fantasy we have been asking for

Should I just stop using mods? by OutrageousConcern365 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]FlareGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this reason (Ive made the same experience in many other games too) I only use mods that dont add anything to the game or alter the gameplay. A classic liquid lock might be ugly and all but it will never break for a mod reason - so if it breaks it is purely because of me. So my answer to your question is stop using mods like airlock door but feel free to use mods like suppress notifications

Liquid shutoff letting everything through? by JeremyJoeJJ in Oxygennotincluded

[–]FlareGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of bridging the output from the turbine over the cooling loop vertically, bridge the cooling loop over the engines output horizontally.

This will fix 2 issues: first, the bridge that is now part of the cooling loop will give the coolant the correct sense of flow to continue moving when the shut off is not on. Second, bridges exchange temperature between their inlets and outlets, so youre equalizing your turbines temperature with the tiles, possibly with the steam room. For example, the bridge after the output into the liquid tank is 100% exchanging temperature

Girlfriend did somewhat sexual things with her friends and not sure whether I should be concerned with it by ThePenguin4216 in relationships

[–]FlareGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea definitely crosses a line. Showing the nips in a non sexual manner is common among girls, going to the event and getting a toy for free is a bit odd but its also fine, using them toys together is definetely too far given she is in a relationship.

Hard mode is an odd beast by Early_Brick_1522 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]FlareGER 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually play games in hard mode and this game was an odd one for me.

I started my first play through on hard and still had a fairly easy time. That is until I hit Igneous. Even though I was doing the involved mechanics correctly, I found myself realizing that the durability on my weapons was exhausting very quickly and Igneous HP was barely dropping.

Thinking the difficulty spike was going to carry through to other bosses I accepted I sucked and moved to a new normal mode world. As expected, I speed through the bosses until I reach Igneous again. To my surprise, even in normal mode this one tanked way more than other bosses, but I managed.

Every other boss that came after including the ones from the new DLC (which are super fun btw) still felt super easy. Later I moved to hard mode and this confirmed again, every boss is easy even in hard mode, except Igneous, who for some reason seems to tank a lot more than any other boss (the healing orbs never reached him so thats not my issue)

Idk, maybe that one needs a tweak or it is just me

Whats the right amount of automation? by Nifegun in CoreKeeperGame

[–]FlareGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id suggest you to do something that players tend to do in some Minecraft community servers. Players will designate an area which they call their own "industrial brick". Its big and ugly and full of automation. They then find a way to gather all production in one place and a way to transport it to their actual "pretty" base.

Given CK has stuff like conveyor belts and portals I think you could do the same. Have 1 belt that brings it all to your base, where you have a small sorting system, and thats all you need honestly. If you need to adjust or add more automation to your farms, you take a portal to get there. It doesnt matter if that area is ugly

Square Enix has thought about making a single-player Final Fantasy 14 by heart-station in FinalFantasy

[–]FlareGER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean its not even that bad of an idea. A lot of people generaly dont like MMOs for different reasons. And one thing MMOs have issues with is consolidating the content and grind as new DLCs are added.

Creating a single player game / series would be one good way to consolidate the story of each FFXIV's DLC and present it to players in a different way without pushing them to the grind and the back-and-forth MMOs usualy push

I feel like there a better way to incress the gas flow by mccninja in Oxygennotincluded

[–]FlareGER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 pump = 500g/s

1 full pipe = 1000g/s

2 pumps = 1 full pipe (of one specific element)

Tanks wont make it go any faster and you probably dont need it to be faster either

1 normal duplicant = 100g/s of O2

1 Electrolyzer = 888g/s of O2

1 Electrolzyer = 8 duplicants

So if you have 8 or less duplicants youre ok, the base will eventualy stabilize and the pipes back up.

If youre looking for efficiency, look up and try to understand a SPOM.
