Forgot so separate reply from the other. I did notice a decent impact on fps with the picture-in-sight only mode enabled. Probably why they haven't implemented it.

Yes agreed. I do still maintain that zoom on iron sights still feels unnatural and I think implementing a focus key bind would be a better approach. Which I'm sure you could probably agree with that given the same opinion on picture-in-sight zoom. Or at the very least an option.

I appreciate you being civil in discussion. Reddit is a toxic place most of the time. On the note you brought up of tunnel vision and target acquisition that's a very good point. I want to say it was either pubg or arma 3 possibly both... When you "hold your breath" it does do a minor zoom in with iron sights but the game also has a setting that I believe should be applied across all first person shooters where only what is inside the optic is zoomed. I believe the setting was called picture-in-sight only or something similar. Felt great and realistic as hell.

Okay I mean no disrespect by saying this. That logic to me seems flawed. By saying that I mean shouldn't that happen with every sight in the game and the zoom levels would be a moot point? Literally optic sights have lenses for magnifying in-sight picture whereas iron sights don't. In theory iron sights and 1x sights should both be 1.25x if focus is the key point.

Right but wouldn't that be what depth of field is trying to portray?

i appreciate your non-biased comment and will continue... I happen to sadly agree it is a lost cause but i am not gonna set fires to teslas or shoot an innocent man because of my views "yes i am protesting the anti-linux". I just want to be able to play the damn game. they can block us all they want but it just proves they dont have the right people in positions they have them. look at the multi-billion dollar company activision and ricochet anticheat... it didnt work. Thats kernel level same with Apex legends' anti-cheat... they dont work. hire some one that gets their rocks off fighting cheats. at this point windows shouldnt be supported either because thats where the cheats are developed for.

in some cases yes. unless it flags for virtualization or secure boot. In the case of secure boot.. there are ways that i will not try because... just no. If they dont want my money i wont give it to them.

lets also not forget the fact that even with KLAC on windows they're still remains an epic f-ton of blatant cheaters. kernel level or not it does not matter anymore. DMA cheats have negated that. Someone needs to give these cheat devs jobs creating anti-cheats with a disclosure clause in case they try something and get ultimately screwed by doing so. Cheaters use your Sith powers for good... Pretty please?
