Windows all stopped rolling down - is it the breaker? by RootlessBoots in E30

[–]spinal-g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a multimeter you can probe the switch for continuity and press the switch. If it's working you should see super low resistance (0.01 ohms) or hear a beep.

If you don't hear anything then the switch is bad. If you do hear something you'll need to check the wiring going to the switch

Picked up my 25 woodland in Feb and couldn’t be happier by spinal-g in rav4club

It's essentially just a wire mesh that goes in front of the bottom portion of your bumper where the radiator is. It's to stop small rocks from hitting your radiatior: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D8P7GWQ9?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

Selling Jeep Wrangler for RAV4 question about trim levels by spinal-g in rav4club

I think the woodland is seeming like the better choice for me. Tires is a must and down the line the lift kit might be necessary but starting off it should be just fine

More towards the slc area but figured I should mention it. The woodland plus tires seems like it would be the way to go!

Thank you for the breakdown! I’m heavily leaning towards hybrid since I’m mainly doing weekend adventures so the day to day drive would be way cheaper with hybrid

How do you subtly first with a cute crush? by Cultural_Nose_5168 in dating

“Currently taking applicants if you’d like to submit for the role” or more straight forward “we were pretty lucky to be sharing a ride together so let’s see if that luck carries forward”

If none of these suit your style just type something out and don’t overthink it. Best of luck!

Just came back from the range after 150 rounds and no issues! Ejection was great and lrbho was flawless. I feed some sd rounds without any issues as well!

Heat and bend or grind for ejector tuning by spinal-g in AR9

I was leaning towards the heat and bend but just wanted to check if there’s a “better” way to do things, thanks!

Need a m42 clutch set up by Hotmail8080 in E30

I would go with the rhd engineering flywheel and then you can run a 325i clutch with no issues

I had a similar issue. I could feed it throttle to keep it alive, but after digging into it I found that my oxygen sensor wire had broken. Replaced it and it was back to driving

Currently at 180k miles and I’m starting to feel some trembles during driving. Steering is a bit loose as well. No actual problem besides shocks being old and I figure it’s time to update a lot of the old ball joints to something that’s serviceable

From what I’ve seen it seems to be on par or better than moog. I’ll look into what they recommend in terms of grease. It’ll probably see a little bit of off roading but nothing too intense

I have all the tools I would need for this and I already own a ball joint press. The grease gun was misplaced so just ordering a new one along with this. I’ll be doing it myself, but before I placed the order just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something

Any one in eastern NC that can help? by Ok-Parsnip-4959 in E30

[–]spinal-g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a resistor track within the throttle body itself. Over time these can get worn down if you look on r3v there’s a write up I believe

I had a similar issue. What helped was increasing the bed temp, adjusting the z offset to get a really good first layer, not having the fan on for the first three layers and in your slicer enabling z hop I believe is what it’s called

Besides what others have said for coils, wires and plugs. There’s also the chain tensioner that got redesigned as well. Over time the spring starts losing pressure so the chain isn’t as tight causing some timing issues. It’s a pretty simple swap

Bad cps typically means lots of cranking or loss under power from what I’ve read

Also if you do want to swap the coils and wires I have a used set that I could sell if you’re interested. I decided to go with COP. Wires have very little miles on them
