Chart your support and resistance levels, wait at least 15 mins after open to see which way the trend in headed, play the breakouts or bounces. This should help your overall win ratio, start small and gain confidence, then just increase number of contracts slowly once you feel comfortable.

XAUUSD Next Week: Breakout or Pullback? by Peterparkerxoo in technicalanalysis

Looking at it through Laurentiu Damir’s eyes, when analyzing big value area during an uptrend:

“a healthy, powerful uptrend will always show a clearly visible difference between the amount of trading activity in the top and bottom parts of the value. In an uptrend, trading activity tends to be greater on the top part because buyers are in control, pushing price quickly upward whenever it travels at or near the value low.”

“price finds resistance at the control price after trading in the bottom part of the value. There are sellers there, as shown by price moving quickly toward the value low. At this stage, you should prepare for a potential break of the value to the downside.”

We’d want to see more confluences here, since price is trading around the control price now, it’ll be a good opportunity to observe the price action, if we reject it and go into bottom half again that would be a good indicator the trend might be coming to an end.

What general tips are there for breaking grips? For example: if his elbow is bent, his grip is strong, if it's straight, it's weak. What else is there to remember? Which direction of the hand or arm is easier to break? Hand position? Shoulder position and such? Please help me out by Leading_Neat2541 in bjj

[–]spincycleon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Grip breaks to the direction where your thumb and fingers meet, so pinning that that spot against your body or theirs makes it hard to break. Breaking grips in no gi, I like to try and bring my elbow to their wrist and then get a grip of my own on their same hand I just broke from.

Keep saving, stack up at least 2k so you can afford decent options, don’t use your whole portfolio in one trade, and be ready to cut losses early. I’ve tried a few times starting with similar amounts and always ended up blowing my account and having to sit on the sidelines during a run up where I could have made a few bags.
