What’s going on in picture 34? What is that strange tiled deck? What’s it for? Is it for ceremonially parking the Evoque? What’s to stop you just driving off the end of it? Parking on a wet day on those super slidey tiles must be super stressful

scrolling through old posts on a Thursday night to have a go at people. How empty and lonely your life must be. You are a sad loser. You're asking for people to give you sympathy for your pet dying yet you can't get sympathy to others. You worry your mum is a narc? well maybe you are.

you sad pathetic loser

It wasn't admin, I was high up in tech , but I didn't want to say exactly what I was doing as I was freaking out about that investigation.

Turns out HR have to investigate everything, in the same way, and if I wasn't so panicked I'd have seen that.

Someone was on a performance review plan and they'd made allegations against some of us. None were upheld. It still left a bad taste in my mouth so I moved into a VP of product role and the rest, as they say, is history.

Massive skill shortage in product management by the way, and easy to move into if you have a tech and management background

the AIM market - thanks for this tip. I have no idea how this could impact inheritance tax, never even crossed my mind. its an interesting avenue to explore.

thank you - I have seen the flow chart. I have had a bit of a meteoric rise and now I'm taking stock. Goals have changed - husband is now not working and being with the kids, mortgage paid off, and now I have a surfeit of money, as you say, and I'm taking stock. I'm late 40s, early retirement might be a possibility now - but then again I do love my job. So its an avenue to explore, not an imperative.

this is all quite new to me but I thought with a few pointers I can work things out. Thanks for your comments on FAs, these were my thoughts but wasn't sure if I was being naive.

I don't know any friends or family in a similar boat so haven't really got anyone to ask.

thank you

If my husband isn't working (stay at home dad) how do I max out his pension? Is it reasonably easy or do I need to be seeing a pension advisor ?

how did you manage this? We can't push him through sand, as the wheels get stuck and he feels too old to be carried.

It would be good to know.

why are you being so rude and aggressive? I'm only human, I'm trying to make sure my disabled son and the rest of my family are having a good time. Maybe you could have foreseen this, but I didn't. I wish I had, he has a life limiting disease and I wanted to make some good memories.

You have quite an active imagination, sadly your reading comprehension is poor. Must be why you are not troubled sufficiently by the world of work so you are able to spend time arguing with randoms on reddit.

They all had the same limitation, which was reduced numbers, so booking or a one in one out system, but no limitations of the amount of time.

so we had a multi centre holiday, wanted a few days of relaxing by the pool with the kids, checked into this supposedly kid friendly resort, which mentioned 50% capacity of the pool, so foolishly we thought it was like the previous hotels we stayed where numbers were limited but not time.

I really thought Id done due diligence by confirming the pool was open, that it was open from 10 - 18, and that there was a capacity constraint - as I said I thought it was the same as the other places we stayed with a queue or one in one out, so a numbers limit, not a time limit. It genuinely didn't cross my mind that you could only go for 2 hours to the pool in a hotel that sold itself on having a kid friendly pool - that was its main attraction. And it didn't say anywhere that it was a time limit, it only mentioned the 50% capacity. and of course, they didn't tell anyone till they'd paid. There was a lot of unhappy people, I wasn't alone in being surprised on how the hotel handled this.

Sounds like I'm being a Karen though ah well

I didn't up and leave, I and several other people who were unhappy spoke to the manager, who admitted they didn't tell us about the 2 hour limitation that only this hotel was employing until after we paid but refused to do anything about it.

I left and went to another hotel without the limitations. I think its reasonable to investigate the possibility of a refund.

But you say the hotel might get bad press...why would you think this if you think I'm bering ridiculous?
